Different strokes I guess. I'm just too spoiled by AOSP ROMs to ever like Sense again.

There is no bloatware. They actually took off a lot of stuff, like HTC Hub.
Things like power saver and connection optimizer are bloatware that assumes we're all morons and can't manage our own phones.

I decided to check it out and I did not like it. It seems like HTC took a step backward with this update in terms of bloatware. When I first seen Sense 4 when I first got this phone I was impressed at how little bloat, at least for sense, there was. It felt leaner but now with Sense 4+ it just reminds me of the Evo 3D again with how much garbage they decided to put back on it. Needless to say I won't be using it as my daily ROM.

I don't have much interest in the stock ROM but I did grab the new firmware. No issues here on CM10.

In any case I'm going to be keeping a close eye on that tower on Callahan.
If this is legit, we might see some LTE start popping up in a month or so.

So I'm guessing that's for new towers? Because that would be nice.

JB will get here when it gets here. Would rather have them take their time and make sure its working properly then have a rushed update to appease the "I NEED THE NEWEST UPDATE NAO" crowd. I'm pretty sure its taking awhile because they're trying to fix the LTE issues a lot of people are having. Just have patience people. This is a good phone and the next update will make it even better(hopefully lol). If you really need a JB fix, root and grab CM10. It's awesome.

Forum runner in my opinion is managed poorly. I emailed the dev a couple of times with suggestions and bug reports and he replied saying he would release an update when he felt like it in a rude manner. I wish it would get a lot of fixes out and actually be updated with new feature because I love the idea behind it.
I think I'll stick with tapatalk after hearing that.

Widgets are only useful when on the home screens. Doesn't help when in an app, but a good idea otherwise.

True. Probably just the only option, sort of.

Now I realize why I like Forum Runner so much. I only use Tapatalk because Android Central won't work on Forum Runner.
Yeah that's why I use it as well. Most of the forums I use Forum Runner won't work on. =/
Is this just a tapatalk issue or something to do with the site? This is apparently the only forum I use that this happens.

At the end of my apartment's lease I'm going to be moving to an apartment complex that I know beforehand does not get cell service for geographic reasons. Now I'm not worried about data necessarily because I can always use WiFi but I can barely make calls over there. I've seen that Sprint has this Airave device available. I have a concern that isn't addressed on Sprint's site and that is if it lets just ANYBODY connect to it? I mean it's connected to my internet and I don't feel comfortable letting just anyone connect to it. For example, I don't really want my neighbors using my Airave to tether their phones for internet use using MY internet, bogging it down in the process.

I want it to say LTE so that i can glance down at my phone while driving and see if I am connected easier. Maybe it is just my crappy eyesight but seeing the difference between 3G and 4G at a glance can be tricky. It makes it easier to save gas when mapping on Sensorly if I am actually just mapping the LTE areas.
Sent from a phone using an application. That's pretty cool.
I know there are widgets available that display what kind of network you're on in large easy to see pics and text. I don't know what they're called specifically because I've not used them but I have seen them on other people's phones.

That sucks. Sprint could probably use a tower right there too.
