  1. Got a carrier update notice yesterday? Is it updated to 34.0 now? I only ask because I've looked up online see a couple of mentions of 34.1 mentions.

Any idea what this latest carrier update is supposed to do?

Anyways I'm using an iPhone 7 Plus running on iOS 12.1

  2. No. Airspan is strictly a LTE RAN and future NR RAN provider.
Voice will be supported when opt in VoLTE becomes available this coming fall.

We'll I'd guess I'll keep the current Magic Box then. Has anyone figured out the advantages the next generation Magic Box has that the current one doesn't.

Well one tower in Alamogordo has B41. Not sure why they did the Holloman AFB Tower first. But love the speeds

Then I got back into town.

It's been a couple of years since I've been to Ruidoso, last time I was there Sprint's service was lacking. Have any improvements been made there?

  4. Ordered a Sprint Magic Box a few weeks ago for my parents vacation cabin in Idyllwild, CA. Cabin sits just barely outside of LTE range (even in outdoors). Not going to lie, I was very skeptical of this magic box, after about 20-30 minutes, followed by toggling on and off airplane mode, & PRL update and I was very happy with the after results. Download speed has increased 25 fold & upload speed has increased 5 fold. I placed the unit inside the detached wooden garage and thus far, it's working great! 5. Was at Rady's Children's Hospital today. I've been with Sprint since 2009. I've been throughout a lot of growing pains with their network over the years but it's definitely been worth it. I will say though, I used to get consistent LTE in Carlsbad at Costco, but when I went to the food court which is located outdoors, it would constantly roam between 3G & roaming and it would be that way along I-5 all the way to Del Mar Heights. I wonder if Sprint is upgrading towers again?IMG_1170.JPG.639b29cda7d1b00af8cde9ff74649713.JPG

LTE back up and running at the Carlsbad Costco Food Court with satisfactory speeds again, 9Mbps down/10Mbps up.

  6. It's hard to believe a tad more than 5 years ago, Sprint didn't have any LTE in San Diego. Still more work to be done on Sprint's end but much better than at this time 5 years ago. I'm not mistaken, I think the other spot where LTE started in San Diego was in the South Bay. I found this on my Facebook memories popup today.IMG_1187.thumb.JPG.d6f736a46dd04c2f8b1dc6bb3b22a3c5.JPG

  8. I would go there all the time for my job. You could get 2mb download at EUNM by Albertsons market(old Lawrence brothers) a year ago. Last time I was there it was under 1mb. Not sure what is going on with Sprint in our market. Hope they get back on track down here.

Actually place I'm staying at is roughly caddy corner from there at the Innsbrook Country club off Mechem Drive/N.M. State Route 48 at Cree Meadows. Now it just fluctuates between EV-DO Rev. A and 1xrRTT with ping times ranging from 98ms to 171ms when I am connected to EV-DO Rev. A

  9. Well when I get home Wednesday, I'm gonna cease using my Note 7 until the replacement Note 7 comes out. Until then, I'm going to go back to my old Samsung Galaxy S5 that's been collecting dust. Hopefully Sprint can reactivate that without issue.
