  1. No entirely sure if the the phone was able to transfer data. I will check on saturday on the area again.
  2. Nope. I don't know anything else. But my phone has been acting weird near Guanica connecting to B2 LTE and is strange... Ins't B2 T-Mobile LTE? Or is this a bug in Signal Check Pro? Have seen two weird connections, B12 and now B2...
  3. Nice, I have seen multiple B13 antennas on the Southwest but successfully connected to only one.
  4. I was between two towns and strangely I was able to connect to B12 but the phone was not roaming. I'm pretty sure that Claro owns B12 but need to do more research. By the way, my phone is not rooted, there's no app forcing any specific LTE band and there's no modification whatsoever with my phone. In the brief time that I was in B12, the internet was working fine. Anyone have any clue on why my phone used B12? Out did I understood Signal Check Pro incorrectly? Update: Upon further research, it seems that MCC 310120 corresponds to Sprint... I'm lost here...
  5. The one near Las Guaras. To be more specific, the tower you see on the hill from highway #2.
  6. Power is back again on the town and phone is on B25. B13 was good while it lasted. I'm anxious for B13 to come online! B25 in my town is afwul. See for yourself in the screenshot... This is every single day.
  7. Not rooted but that suggestion is a great idea. I will check they out... Obviously, for educational purposes...
  8. Another power outage in my area. Currently 7 hours without electricity in the entire town. Sprint towers are long gone. No 1xRTT, 3G or LTE... Nothing, nada. Phone is roaming again with Open Mobile. Speeds right now are lighting fast compared to Sprint normal B25 in my town. I can't wait for Sprint to implement B13.
  9. Update: Did a PRL update (55069) and sightings of B13 using Signal Check Pro are less frequent know in my area. Before this latest PRL, I was able to see between 2-3 B13 signals everyday for the entire time that I had the app open but not anymore. There is a B13 in my area at -98 dBm that's constantly disappearing from Signal Check Pro. As for roaming charges when I was using Open Mobile, there are none and the roaming data allotment stills at zero. Two question for thought... If Sprint and T-Mobile merge, what could be the implications for PRWireless in Puerto Rico (Joint company between Sprint and Open Mobile)? Would the DOJ step in to prevent a 3 carrier merge in PR? Or would it go thru making a super telecom company in PR? Or maybe the DOJ allows the merge in the USA but not in PR... Lastly, could the rollout of Sprint VoLTE be affected in PR do to Open Mobile's equipment?
  10. Update: There was a second major power outage in my area on Wednesday and I was able to connect to Open Mobile's B13 again. Data roaming allotment as of today still at zero. Definitely Sprint must be considering Open Mobile as extended network at the moment. What's surprising for me is that on the island wide power blackout and on the second local power blackout, Sprint towers in my area are went offline in less than an hour. Is was like if their batteries or generators were damaged or not prepared. In contrast, Open Mobile's towers in my area (the one that I roamed) never went offline and were up the entire time on the first and second blackout. As soon as power was restored on both events, I was kicked out of B13.
  11. To be fair, I would say that PR has very very limited B41 coverage. In my experience visiting multiple cities and towns in the island, so far I have seen only 5 cities with B41 (I know there are a few more but there are not that many). Mayagüez (limited areas), Yauco, Ponce (limited areas), San Juan, Canovanas (limited areas). Is not like the entire island is blanketed in B41. By the way, it seems there is no B26 in PR or at least, I haven't seen it. Most of the time it's congested B25.
  12. Bad news... I was kicked out of band 13. I'm now at B25 like always. Power is now restored in the island. I suspect that b13 connectivity was due to Sprint losing multiple towers in my area due to the blackout. Roaming data consumption still at 0.
  13. Data roaming allotment still at 0 GB... Speeds are way better than the meager 0.4 Mbps I was getting with B25. It seems I can't post more screenshots (maybe new account restrictions) but I'm getting 5.25 Mbps download and 9.08 Mbps upload.
  14. Interesting. Did a little experiment... I turn off all roaming in my phone and the phone is still connected to Open Mobile...
  15. Anyway to see more detailed info in the account dashboard? It has been more than 2 hours since it connected to band 13 and my Sprint app shows data roaming at 0. Also forgot that if I call 611, I get Open Mobile customer service.
  16. Don't know if this is related to the electric blackout in the island but I was able to connect to Open Mobile band 13 in my phone without issue. I'm still currently connected to band 13...
