Under iOS 9, anyone can sideload any iOS app using XCode 7.  I wonder if this would allow us to get around any of the restrictions that CellularInfo has?

This whole forum has gone really quiet recently, and I'm not sure why. But in some thread related news, I sold my 6+ and bought a 6. It was just becoming too cumbersome to operate one handed. It feels right to have a "normal" sized phone again.

If you're talking about all of S4GRU, I think it's because the network update maps are fewer and farther between.  So instead of checking daily, more people are coming here weekly or monthly.

Did you reboot your iPhone? I had to disable wifi calling on the account also, and was stuck on 3G until I restarted my iPhone 6.

What do Sprint calls and texts cost when in Canada?

Just found out a big negative for WiFi calling for me.  

I use YouMail, and when WiFi calling is turned on, VoiceMail goes through Sprint's voicemail system instead of YouMail's.  I tried the Activate YouMail phone dial sequence and got an audio message that that feature doesn't work when using WiFi Calling.

So I'll have to keep WiFi calling off under most circumstances.

How do I turn on wifi calling?

Instead of poisoning the iPhone thread, I thought I'd start a new thread on the app.

There's a new "compact discussion card" mode. See if you can tell which one of these is the compact version.

Mine said "open" yesterday in the app store and I almost died. I thought I had updated it by accident as well. Fortunately it is still the same.

Is there a way to decipher the cell ID. I'm used to cell identity and just You're welcome know... Not knowing anything else because it's iPhone haha

I just suggested he add a "0" in front to make it the true GCI. First 3 (or in our case as of now, first 2) are the market id, next 3 are site id, and last 2 are sector id.

I suggest having it so that the notification widget is the "Just the numbers" area, and then in the app translate some of the coding so it's formatted.  I'm guessing Vince you're referring to the UARFCN number with that? The app could take that and show it like this:

Site:      ###

Sector: ##

Also, I think there is some number that is hex in Android and a normal number in iOS (or vice versa, can't remember).  Maybe show both of those if it's a simple translation.

I agree with moving the Settings to its own area off the main screen.  Have a gear button to take you to that screen.

Maybe the title should be updated to say "...: beta released"

In the status bar?  What does "respring" mean?  

Very cool!  Does the Notification Center widget refresh itself or is that only when I reswipe it down?

I assume the Show LTE Band is a jailbreak-only option? 

This app won't ever be in the App Store- it grabs data using private APIs which violates lots of App Store rules. It's going to be distributed via Cydia on jailbroken phones.

Tapatalk is a universal app, right?  How can I get the older version of it from my iPhone to my iPad?

Sucks monkey balls still.  I was able to not upgrade it on  my iPhone but my iPad wasn't so lucky.  I now have to use Safari there.

Has anybody heard of Sprint's 50 dollar a month Iphone 6 plan? Is it worth it? I've considered getting it when I upgrade but the price seems to good to be true. I'm worried about Sprint limiting my data if I use to much. What are your thoughts? 

I have it and am leasing the iPhone 6 with it.  No complaints.   

So this keeps popping up on my screen about once or twice a day. I haven't been able to figure out why.

I had already entered my id and all durning set up.

If it keeps happening even after typing in the correct password, something is wonky with your iCloud account.  Try signing out of that and then back in.  That happened to me.

Has anyone noticed that you can now click the top of the screen in this Crapatalk app to finally browse sub-forums? It used to always crash. I wonder how they fixed it without pushing an update? Maybe it was something on their server side?

Yes.  I'm still not using it.  My iPad Air shows a whopping 2.5 subject threads in the side bar.   So much wasted screen space.
