  1. Thanks for the explanation. Do we have an estimate of what percentage of towers broadcast their true coordinates vs "sectorizes" them? I know my local tower goes the sector route, but I haven't really paid attention to others in the area.

Is there any data we get from an app like RF Tracker or Network Info that can be used to positively ID what tower we are connected to?I know there is the whole issue about different sectors being assigned different BSID, but does the Network ID or System ID give us anyway to determine exactly what tower we are connected to? What info exactly does the System and Network ID provide?
  3. If they include all the LTE bands in the iPhone 5, then they have no reason to overcharge everyone again in 6 months when they release the iPhone 5s, which will include all LTE bands. Follow the money.
  4. So Sprint will now deploy LTE on three bands eventually, correct? 800, 1900 and 2500. Is there any estimated time frame for the first handset to handle all LTE bands to be tested/released?

Used to be somewhere around .05-.1 Mbps. Lately, it's been closer to .2-.3 Mbps. That's good, because it would take over one minute to load a basic web page and killed the battery when I was out there.

Originally Posted 9 December 2011 Battery drain was due to Facebook for Android trying to sync my live stream (even though I unchecked the box under 'account&sync' menu). I think it was due to my removing Friend Stream, so if you do root, you may want to keep FriendStream on your phone, just in case. I'm now at almost two hours off the charger and still at 96%.
  8. Migrated from Original Forum. Originally Posted 8 December 2011 Just rooted yesterday with HTC method and flashed CleanROM. SO far so good. Everything functions like stock. My battery did drain faster, but I'm working on isolating the problem with that.
