  1. Is it just me, or is this launch that is freakin' TOMORROW been more sealed up than even an Apple launch? Very limited leaks the last few weeks... I can't wait to see what they have to offer though (when are they going to do this thing, anyone know off the top of their head?  I know it is in Berlin so it should be pretty early here, right?)...

  2. Oh, I'm not joking. The posts were hidden. We are in a Sprint forum. If you want to find out specific info about other carriers and which one is best for your new iPhone, go to their forums. If you have specific questions about Sprint Network Vision in the Orlando market, we will do our best to answer them.

Let me reword my question then. Has any one seen LTE north of 434 (up until 417) recently and if so how were the speeds? Sensorly shows a few LTE spots along 17-92 and Lake Emma road, but are these still up and running?

Sensorly also shows a constant LTE signal along I4 (from 528 to 417).. is this realistic?

Also, how would you describe your LTE experience throughout all of Orlando, if you had to rate it on a scale from 1-10, with a 10 having LTE every where you travel.

  3. I thought it would be acceptable to find out the latest LTE status in North Orlando? Especially since I don't have an LTE phone yet to test.

I'm about to make a decision so thought this would be the appropriate place to ask how Sprint now compares in the Orlando market....

  4. Found an Optimus G on Craigslist for $100 and I am looking for a quick phone to test LTE in the area, as I am currently on an iPhone4S.

Is $100 a good deal on this phone? How well does it pick up LTE signal?

    Thanks!

  5. Yeah it was slow in this forum for a few days. I lean on all of you for advice, since I'm still on a 3G only device :) I can say from a 3G perspective only, it has been stagnant the past couple of weeks around Orlando.

I'm just extremely excited about Samsung's Sept 5th event and Apple's Sept 10th event. Will have the opportunity to select a new phone and make a decision on carriers. So I'll be checking in every day to get everyone's latest opinion on the LTE status!

  6. How does one do this! Cause I have crappy coverage in my house and I hate it. Even my phone calls drop.

I have no idea. I live in a Townhouse, so I am close to other houses. Yesterday I started hearing three beeps before every call and looked up what was causing it. Apparently it is an Airave some one has in the area and *99 confirmed it. Glad they positioned it to where I can use it lol!

  7. ive always wondered what the three beeps were.

I thought the Airave can only provide usable service to 5 preprogrammed numbers though? I'm most likely wrong on this though.

I have no idea. My 3G service is now over 2Mbps and I hear the three beeps. I dialed *99 and it says there is an Airave in range. So I kind of just assumed? lol

  8. Not LTE related, but just realized I have been paying way too much for service lol. Got on the new plan for $80 which is much better than my previous $110. Here's to hoping the LTE gets good in two months so I don't have to leave when my contract expires :)

  9. Not sure on quality but, I just broke my phone and I was looking on ebay and amazon and there is a LG Viper lte for under $100 which is what my deductible is for the insurance and many are remans.

Thanks! Just saw one on Craigslist for $25 lol. If it is still available, I don't mind paying $25 to test LTE.
