  1. Seems like for one reason or another they just haven't gotten to Ohio yet. It has to be a third round group of regions since it's being surrounded by LTE. At least, I'd think so.
  2. Ah, that could be it. Hoping we get the conversion to ehrpd soon. That should at least signal us that that aspect is ready for the conversion to Network Vision.
  3. I assume you installed the update that was released a couple weeks ago? Mine works as well as my wife's 4S. It still is slow on 3G but that's just how it is in Columbus.
  4. Oh I see. Mine actually seemed to work better on that PRL than the one after. But this one is working great. I mean, as great as it probably can until Network Vision hits here.
  5. I have the same one on my 5. I had 33XXX something before.
  6. I keep coming back to the Network Running List every day to see if it's been updated with Columbus being on there. I would map out everything on Sensorly when LTE comes but they don't have that functionality on iOS.
  7. From what the field test screen is showing I appear to have EVDO at work.
  8. I have the iphone 5, but the speedtest app doesn't show details about the network under results. It just shows "Cellular." Big help there! I looked back when I was in Annapolis area a month back and had LTE and it showed the same thing for that.
  9. I'm not sure how to find that out on my iPhone. Does the speedtest app show it somewhere?
  10. Fair enough, but I don't know that it only has to do with population. They've done areas around the country that are pretty low in population. Nobody knows when the upgrades are coming for Network Vision, but the ones that are on Sprint's Network site are just normal upgrades, they're not part of NV. I'm in the same boat as you are at work in Gahanna. Though my ping isn't quite that bad. I usually get about 200 ms but download and upload speeds are about the same. I think the main problem is capacity around here, I'm where a bunch of corporate offices are so a lot of people are using data during the day.
  11. I'll be in Watkinsville for Christmas in a couple months. I assume I should have great LTE coverage all around Athens by that point. Good to hear.
  12. That's if you count metro areas. With just city limits, Columbus population is over twice as big as Cincinnatti and almost twice as big as Cleveland. Metro areas are always a sticky metric because some go out much further than others. Every time I see this bumped I think that there's actually news about NV in Columbus.
  13. Any news on Columbus, OH? I know that since it isn't on this list that it's not in the cards to be "launched" before Jan 1st. That makes sense. Just wondering if you know if they plan on doing any work here before the end of the year. I would assume that when Cleveland starts that they'd start here as well. I have a tower in my neighborhood so I can at least keep an eye on it and see when they convert it, pretty easily.
