  1. Can anyone give instructions how to do the update? I am a new m9 owner. TIA
  2. Several Minnesota folks have made the same comment.
  3. I have read some folks did that. Then I see your screen shot showing you did. What is the case for disabling band 41? With the expectation of Lollipop 5.1 almost imminent, is there a problem doing nothing?
  4. How Soon to upgrade Lollipop 5.1? The question applies to whatever you have that can upgrade.... it is NOT limited to a particular device.
  5. I'm ready to dig a hole and bury it like a bone. The screenshot herewith was in an area surrounded by by LTE towers anywhere from direct sight to a few miles... all three bands.
  6. I finally got up the nerve to at least look at that. I am not sure how smart I was, but the only change that have made with that ability is to change the band priority from 25/26/41 to 41/26/25. That was easier than it should be. As yet, I am not convinced that it did any good After doing so, I powered down the m9 (turned it totally off) waited a moment or two and powered it back up. I achieved my goal of making the phone ask for the MSL before anything can be done further than look. Before powering down, it was NOT necessary to reenter the MSL to do anything else...Scarry thought to me.
  7. See the WALL article Sprint LTE Advanced Carrier Aggregation Discovered Live Today in Atlanta (B41 2xCA) Page two which includes comments indicates the HTC One M9 is capable of be set to take advantage of this, but I perceive an update of the device will be necessary. Further comments indicate a permission modification by the device owner to enable it will be necessary as Sprint issued these devices with it turned off. I updated the profile and PRL but cannot see it on the Lollipop 5.0.2 version. Perhaps I need to wait for an update to that version?
  8. The city of Bellevue is named for it's Beautiful View
  9. mikejeep A question please. In the above screenshots, how much trouble would it be to add GCI to the LTE info when the LTE info is in the second position as in the above two screenshots ??
  10. It's not a single phone. device issue. My HTC One m9 has the same or similar issue except it latched on to the 1X800 or lesser quality signal as primary in SCP, but also shows some LTE. I am on Lolliop 5.0.2 PRL 55025. Both screenshots below are in areas near towers with SPARK / Bands 25, 26, and 41 service fully functional. In fact, the very towers identified ARE SPARK / Bands 25, 26, and 41 service fully functional =========== I tried one day to do the airplane on / pause / airplane off system bmoses and others and suggested. My m9 became a worse power hog after a day of doing so. After doing so, the m9 would run hot due to the CPU or memory increased activity. This was true even a few days after doing it when not doing it for a day or two. I ended up doing a soft reset to get the battery drain issue resolved. I am not so sure that I will be doing the airplane switch much due to the battery useage and the device running hot aftermath that lasted for days.
  11. It appears my HTC One m9 may be having a buffereing/cashe issue that may be feeding some cross information in SCP. This screenshot reflects the GCI of one tower and the PCI of a nearby tower. Since you are a Premiere member, see http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/5375-nebraskaiowa-premier-thread/?p=269494 That is the source of the GCI and PCI data that feeds this feedback.
