  1. What LTE development has Blacksburg, VA had the past couple years? Does it have B41 and CA yet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Don't forget about the launching of femtocells to consumers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Does anyone know of developments regarding VoWifi to 1X handoffs on iPhones? It works on a Samsung Galaxy S7 but does not work on iPhone 7 Plus in my neighborhood. Has anyone with iPhones had success? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Knowing that Sprint partnered with Boingo, I have a lot of doubts that Sprint will try to improve their network speeds at airports. Why go through the trouble when you already have a partner that provides your customers with Wifi (at the 35 airports that Boingo has service at)?
  5. Apple will replace the screen but not the phone.
  6. Is Colorado not an initial market for CA? I see them in the second list but not the first? It was mentioned on Reddit that CA was spotted in Denver a couple weeks ago
  7. Does 19.1 work better than 20.0? And I was wondering if 20.1 was the latest version on 8.4 because there are posts from people on iOS 9 who were on a higher carrier bundle. Just wondering if that applied to 8.4 as well and if so, if it showed improvement. Also, were you able to jailbreak iOS 8.4 when running iTunes 12.2? Taig is saying it can't find the Apple/iTunes driver?
  8. Have you updated the carrier bundle on 8.4?
  9. Is 20.0 dropping LTE too? I am on 20.0 but I still see LTE dropping, albeit the iPhone is holding onto the signal slightly better tan 19.1 was.
  10. Apple will only replace your display, not the whole phone… unless you tell them that there is something else that's wrong with the phone not associated with the display
  11. I'm really tired of 19.1 dropping from LTE to 3G. Can Sprint get something right?
  12. Of course! All the companies are in the business of making money! They market to those who don't do their research so when people think they are getting a deal, they really aren't!
  13. I have an ED 1500 plan so this streaming debacle shouldn't directly affect me *yet*, but out of curiosity, does setting up a VPN disable Sprint's ability to distinguish whether the data you use comes from streaming or not?
  14. Saw on Reddit that 2nd B41 carrier will light up in Denver this summer! Woohoo! Too bad I have an iPhone 6. #1stWorldProblems
  15. What would it take for Sprint to have seamless handoff between VoWiFi and VoLTE once they establish VoLTE? Is their codec (?) compatible? Is it just a software update that is sent out to towers/equipment? One has to wonder the impact the lack of seamless handoffs between WiFi calling and Sprint's nonexistent VoLTE will have on Project Fi customers.
  16. David, does Sprint have CDMA estimated shutdown date? Verizon announced plans to shut theirs down right?
  17. Is it likely that in order to get subscribers off of grandfathered unlimited plans, Sprint may not allow subscribers to upgrade phones at the subsidized prices? I know Verizon has done this and I would be extremely disappointed if Sprint decides to follow suit. This is assuming that subsidized phones/contract plans still exist in the next couple years, which doesn't seem very likely with all other networks eliminating their contract plans.
  18. I was informed that the Eastern Shore market was in this thread so that is why I reposted here.
  19. I was in Cape Charles on the Eastern Shore this weekend and I have never experienced such horrid service from Sprint. Even with 1 or 2 bars, I had blocked calls about 90% of the time. When calls connected, the audio quality was so poor it wasn't worth staying on the phone. I couldn't receive or send texts and data wasn't even present. Had to pray that I would roam on Verizon (?) to even get any voice or data service. Such a disappointment, especially since Sprint has upgraded the area towers.
  20. I have never been there before so I can't compare. I did have friends on Verizon and AT&T that had no problems with their networks though. I believed I was connected to NO72XC023 as I was closer to that tower but I may have also been connected to NO72XC011

  22. I've had problems with blocked calls and incoming calls not connecting, though this has not been a very big problem as voice calls are super clear when wifi calling works, which is most of the time. When I am on Sprint's network, voice is usually choppy and robotic at home so wifi calling is a much needed improvement. I have Sprint's ASUS router but decided to use Apple's Time Machine instead after seeing that the connection was unreliable.
