well so you all know they did the 3g upgrade to one of my home towers... and these are my speeds I don't understand how they did an update and the speeds remain the same 3g? but as far as the app Im going to download and use the pro ill do it shortly. but as far as 70 80 mbps speeds who really needs those speeds a consistent 10 15 would be sufficient for anything we do now a days. most things download at a max of 3 or 4 mbps anyway no?

yea my bro said sometimes he get lte... but whats that app you guys use? Im gonna see if that s4 is tribunal tomorrow and use it for testing

ehhh never really had a bad calling experience on it... only this last week did I have bad calling experience. thats the crazy thing about it. I bounce between myrtle decatur and myrtle wyckoff they tell me overtime I call... so basically this update did jack but just seeing other nearby towers get lte excites me. those areas that got that are rough neighborhoods so to see that they are getting work done I have faith these will because they are in much better areas.

Yes I just figured it out... and yes thats cool but my phone note 3 and my bro phone note 4... still same thing.. we live about 8-12 blocks form the cooper st and evergreen location and nothing... and about 4 or 5 blocks from Myrtle and Decatur St and no difference in 3g speeds but its cool at least something is happening. I'm getting 507ms ping .17mbps down .41mbps upload on 3g...

lololol man oh man you don't even understand I feel like a bum out here! When I travel I get some areas where the LTE is on point but mostly its blah! and mostly its blah because where I am are in areas where those towers haven't been updated Ive been cursed with knowing people in these areas. But the areas that do have let aren't all that either. better obviously then these snail 3g speeds but not consistent. every says get the triband phone but my brother experiences the same so thats ruled out and Im not talking my area specifically.

I don't know Ive been getting dropped calls like crazy. no data at all. slow data when I drive away from my house. they said jan 2015 it will do the 800mhz which I'm not sure is b number that is for one tower so it would help the speed a lot in the area which IM fine with... but when i called they said they aren't even working on the towers at the moment so they don't know why its doing that.

they broke down what those sites were on schedule for service upgrades but nothing is being done

so I put two and two together... 2 of the sites for Rigewood upgrade are on buildings that are awaiting constructions for years or on a building thats next to a proposed apartment complex which can obstruct signals.... but also in areas where I believe backhaul which we suspect to be VERIZON?? isnt avaiable... what now?

lm*o <<<lolol I spoke to Sprint last night about the whole upgrade that still hasn't begun yet. So just an update for the Ridgewood and Partial Bushwick area customers. The update on Myrtle Decatur and Myrtle Wyckoff will be done Jan. 2015... voice that is LM*O I was like huh... I been complaining about data problems mostly... who uses the phone anymore I WANT LTE ALREADY I WANT WHAT EVERYONE ELSE IS GETTING THE GOOD STUFF! So she said oh that will be done Feb 2015... I started laughing at her again said... "OH YEA Which one 800 or 1900 and 2500mhz at the same time... she said oh Spark... I laughed and said your sure. She said oh wait no... 800... I said I thought Spark was Tri-Band... she said well yes that is but we can't get work permits all at once. I asked her ok why would you want to wait to completely change an entire service when these services are non existence. Why do something 3 times... she was speechless. SO my point of this whole post is to let everyone know Month by Month it should get better. With the 2500 mhz frequency up and running by June 2015... with the start of the data LTE to begin operating Feb. for 800mhz, March for 1900mhz and May? June for 2500mhz she mentioned both months for those bands. So within next six months I pray that I get to experience this as it occurs the Spark update. These promises sound more reasonable than the lies I mentioned last week they were feeding me. Lets keep our fingers crossed!

I respect that 100000% over your first statement which I initially found more rude then my statement. I didn't see it as you just stated. Sprint in turn has gotten better but I just don't understand how these areas are on the lag switch? Im going to make my donation now cause I always put my money where my mouth is and will stick it out with this NOTE 3 until I see the big change on my other brothers Note 4 in which I live with at the moment. And to make it clear I have 7 brothers and 3 sisters that only 2 of them have T-Mobile/Metro PCS and the rest has Sprint from NY NJ to NC. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I just donated now how do I see these maps? I download an App? Are there special instructions I get now?

Wow thanks David for the threat but I didn't know you couldn't voice your opinion on a forum where as this is not really an opinion its more of what I'm experiencing the complete opposite from most of you. I actually never listen to CSR's I get to the Techs and then speak. But besides that Network Vision is supposed to be an all around upgrade 3g/LTE as well as voice. So when I state my opinion I base it on service experiences. I don't live in a nutshell I actually am on the road all the time to pass judgement on Sprint. I am frustrated and def am considering a new phone but won't make that upgrade until the Bushwick Ridgewood service is fixed because I never locked myself into a contract with Sprint I been buying my phones full price since 03-04 and wouldn't want to lock myself in unless I see change. I'll consider the sponsoring site if I only understood the whole process and privileges to it. I leave my phone on cdma/lte mode and most of the time on 3g which even tho I don't have a Spark phone I should still see the LTE service I am able to receive reliably no? I just want to make the right decision in sticking with Sprint

so what are you suggesting for these lies of Ridgewood Bushwick updates? and the Note Edge and the Note 4 aren't good contenders for the 3rd party intergrade and the new LTE bands they are running service off of? I'd respect 3g at 1mbps consistently. I'd even respect 10mbps of LTE anything more is pointless to me. But I usually get 3g/LTE that barely runs and if I get LTE that runs its too much of a LAG on it. I've been with Sprint since 2002 I've not only heard it all from them but have experienced it first hand from ROAD TRIPS to Vermont to road trips to Overland Park Kansas and experiencing the same. So I'm not sure what to do but I will say I'm going to wait until January unless you can say otherwise that it isn't being worked on like they say it is and will be complete at that point.

I had Metro which is TMO and by all means everywhere I went smoked Sprint out. But are those speeds in one place a kill zone for Sprint? I would love to see those in my face all time of the day. Not peak speeds but real time high traffic areas. Also what are your 3g speeds like in those same Killzones?

Which is the 3rd tower you speak of? But like stated I have Note 3... my brother has s5 and lives in the border area of Glendale and works in that area and has same issues as I... his phone is tri-band correct me if I'm wrong? But point being made is he experiences most of the problems I do in all areas. Network Vision is a flop! 3g (INSERT WHATEVER FOUL LANGUAGE HERE) I don't understand how not even 3g is decent. TMO and VZO 3g is like LTE on my phone when I do get LTE. I know you guys know more of the behind the scenes logic to these upgrades how don't you experience this? Or most of the testing you guys do is LTE?

I believe in Bushwick Ave and Flushing those outages you are speaking of the other day the same thing happened to me. I had full bars but couldn't make or receive any calls on 3g or LTE I went outside about 100 feet away from building and the bars went down and I was able to send receive text calls and use internet. SMH the lies Sprint is feeding for customers to hold on for DEAR LIFE! I went downstairs from my daughters Grandparents after constant resets and mode change so I can make a call after 30 minutes of patiently waiting for something that wasn't going to happen... for service to come back to phone. I called Sprint in which they lied and said nothing was wrong. That she google mapped it and saw Satellites for TV on top of building that may be obstructing the CELLULAR service.
