  1. In Network Vision, the entire network is the priority. Sprint has made seemingly no moves to prioritize business districts, stadiums, amusement parks, etc. Those sites will be completed as soon as possible, just like other sites.

At least Met Life stadium is complete for the super bowl. Wonder how that will hold up.

  2. Yikes, not a single upgraded site in Central Jersey within the last week. Any of you think they're just waiting to turn on a cluster of sites, or if this is possibly "polar vortex" related?

I would have to say polar vortex is responsible. If anything maybe they popped in a few carrier cards for 800

  3. Just a shot in the dark but try reprovisioning the device. ##72786# from the dialer.

ah yes, forgot to mention that. i did do ##72786# and ##3282#. Since I am in range of the airave I can only activate if I turn on wifi or unplug the airave to connect to a local tower through eHRPD.

  4. So the 3g on my evo will not work when connected to a tower that is EV-DO, airave or if I have the phone set to cdma only. 3G only works if its under eHRPD. My phone is rooted and running meanbean with the latest radios, I have reset my data profile countless times with no avail.

  6. I decided that I'm going to hold off on this batch of phones and after watching a couple tear down videos and I saw how simple it is I decided to pull the trigger. Only adhesive that I found is on the lower back cover and on the back of the battery. Neither seemed to be an issue with re-assembly. Else wise a pry tool, torx screwdriver, and tweezers got the job done.

Taking apart is no issue. Should of seen how quick I tore it apart when I spilt my coffee on it. Lucky nothing got inside.

  7. I just replaced the battery on mine and am ready to wait it until the next batches of phones arrive. FYI the battery replacement was very easy.

I've been contemplating on change mine. I'm a heavy user and have only 1 bar in my job which has put a lot of stress on it. Off the charger at 7:30 and currently 10:06 and it sits at 79% running meanbean

  8. Oh, well that's a different story. This is a websales/telesales thing only and I've seen people on SD who bought in store, get shot down both in store and by calling, but I'd still probably give it a try. Thing is, I have no idea if order support can even access your purchase.

Called in and they gave a credit on the bill. For both G2's purchased Winning!!

  9. HAHA great deal for only $250 outright. I got mine for $199 without counting taxes with 2 year contract but its not like I was going to leave Sprint anyways due to being on SERO.

But it does suck knowing that I could have upgraded yesterday for only $50 on 2 year contract.

Or $21.39 upgrade on amazon :-)
