Still does it when booted into Safe Mode?  I know one person said they were going to try it in those threads, but no resolution on if it still auto-answered.  Also, are you getting it when only connected to WiFi like some say? 

yes even in safe mode. It has also happened when wifi was off. Ever since the 4.4.4 update, I hate it more than our current memory leak  . You know its bad when you think about activating your old Evo LTE.

I asked this back in Nov and never heard anything here. The phone most times answers itself, yes the settings have been checked and that is not the issue.

With as much as I am on the phone I am surprised i dont have the same issue. I do keep my screen dim and timeout to 30 sec

 

This is my phone in landscape mode. The status bar is very apparent but there is another burn to the right of it. It's the app headers. Really not sure what happened. It must be while I was sleeping during an inadvertent wake. I uninstalled dash Clock which was like a sort of screensaver. It didn't jive well with lollipop battery levels. And now I have burn in.

Are you guys getting screen burn in? Less than a year later I'm getting it on the status bar. I feel like it happened post lollipop. #thankslollipop

I seem to have lost my music controls on the lockscreen. Sucks.

Everything does open up better but its due to ART being the standard. Visually its a simple makeover thats pleasing to the eye, but an option for a darker skin would be nice. The only thing i am annoyed about is that when you hit volume down, you are unable to adjust notification volume.

Since September I have been getting dropped calls, Poor quality,missing and/or delayed text. Theres a ticket and still not fixed

I lost mine yesterday and reprovisioned it, not working still as of this afternoon.

Has anyone else recently lost WiFi calling? My GS5 stopped connecting to it a couple of days ago, and nothing I have done will reconnect, Including re-booting, cycling airplane mode, reconnecting to the router, re-entering address data. Nothing. Zip. Nichts. Nada.

You do have location on?

Any circumstance around when it happens? On WiFi calling? WiFi calling enabled? Weak signal? By answers itself, you mean the phone rings once, then accepts the call? Double check call options, air view gestures, etc.

Happens with or without wifi calling with good signal or bad. Rings maybe once or twice then answers. I checked all options and searched before posting and found nothing. I guess an update issue.

Ever since this update my girlfriends phone & mine both answer by themselves. Happen to anyone else? Doesn't happen all the time

Man, WFC is nice to have when you really, really need it, but I didn't realize I wasn't getting MMS messages (on Hangouts or Messenger(Google one)), missing calls from WiFi AP handoffs or weak spots. It interfered with my GPS lock only in Maps and Waze. It's a mess unless you really need it. Like I said, excellent for dungeons though if you're aware of the issues it can cause.

Well I have about had it with wifi calling. After a minute or two on a call my wifi ends up resetting on the phone. Another case is I will not receive calls or texts which I have to disable it and reset the phone. Also there have been times leaving wifi it will not connect to the towers and needs a reset.

Anyone have issues with the youtube app. Eventually the video freezes but audio continues. I tried removing the updates/clear the app and nothing.

So I have been using ART since the wifi calling update. It finally gave me trouble a few minutes ago to the point I had to pull the battery. Even then it would start up and freeze once hitting the home screen. Pulled it about 6 more times before I got the "android is updating" screen which reverted back to dalvik on its own.

Has anyone noticed loss of data after wifi calling? It takes a while to get back lte or any sort of connection.

Finally got echat to Reprovision my s5. Now it works. Does the notification always ask about updating location settings? And if I'm in lte only mode does wifi calling still work?
