  1. Specialists: AllCustomers: AllEffective Date: 7/19/13What you need to know:7/19 is a big day for Sprint‘s Network Vision with new spectrum and new devices launching.2.5GHz LTE data traffic will overflow to the Clearwire network in: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Seattle, Miami, New York City, Tampa and Chicago.3 new data connection devices launch supporting 2.5GHz LTE frequency: MiFi 500 LTE by NOVATEL, NETGEAR Zing Mobile Hotspot and NETGEAR 341U USB Modem. Why you need to know it:As Sprint completes the merger with Clearwire, we are gaining access to 2 new spectrums to use on the CDMA LTE network.800MHz frequency provides better inbuilding penetration and larger coverage footprint, but reduced capacity.2.5GHz frequency provides smaller coverage footprint, but greater capacity and speeds. This additional spectrum allows LTE devices to intelligently and dynamically select the appropriate frequency between 1900MHz, 800MHz and 2.5GHz to nail down a call. What you can expect next:New smartphones supporting 2.5GHz LTE will launch in the fall of 2013.LTE 800MHz network upgrades are scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

  2. I have added the final day of the Nextel iDEN Countdown Clock to EBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=121128904561

You probably will not be able to see it until the auction starts at 9PM Central on Thursday, June 20th. The auction ends at 9PM Central on Thursday, June 27th. The winner of the auction gets the privilege to have their name below the iDEN Countdown for the last 24 hours before the end of the iDEN network. Hurrah!

Bid early and bid often. No need to wait until the very end. Break in that new and unused credit card! The proceeds of the auction will go to support S4GRU, maybe for a good amount of time!

  3. This phone still has far better signal than the iPhone. As far as the e4gt, I think its slightly better as the one office at work they couldn't even grab a sprint signal. OG EVO had 2 bars at the most. EVO LTE has 1 bar, sometimes dips down to 0 but can still text without issue.

    Just my take on it
