I know. That was just 60mhz. I hope clearwire works with NSN. This along with their "Six Pipe" radio head would really push Clearwire in the forefront of LTE speeds and capacity in cities. I am more shocked at the fact that they were getting 300+Mbps per 20mhz carrier.
The major supplier of Clearwire, DragonWave, announced today an agreement with Nokia Siemens Networks' microwave transport business. That might be good news since DragonWave's largest customer is Clearwire.

Too bad they are already in a contract with Ericsson.

Looks like they had to give up the Lakefront Property in Kirkland.

Clearwire is in Kirkland, they are about 12 miles apart. I built a hotel just across I-90 from Tmo HQ.

T-Mobile should partner up with Clearwire. Did you know that both companies are headquartered in Bellevue, Washington?

It looks like Nokia Siemens is testing TD-LTE Wireless Speeds at 1 Gbps. Will Clearwire go 1 Gbps for TD-LTE or keep it at 100 Mbps?

There is no need for a password once you are a Sponsor. Looks like you are all set.

He's boring and doesn't leave me with the urge to run out and get a new phone.
Tappin' from my SGP 5.0
I rather watch the old Verizon Wireless Guy instead of Dan Hesse unless he has something interesting to say.

Wow thanks man. So I take it that the green dots mean that those towers will pretty much be get LTE and the red dots won't get any LTE love? Or does the red dots mean Clearwire plans to add LTE to them if costs permit? I am not too keen on what the green, red and yellow zones mean.
That is correct. Clearwire is focusing more in the green areas for LTE right now. The red areas may change in the future to support LTE also.

I am interested in the Hacienda Hts, Rowland Heights, Whittier, La Habra area...but its hard to tell from these pics.
I was able to confirm that Rowland Heights, Whittier, and La Habra are high capacity and are likely to be part of the hot zones. I will try to get a zoomed in image of those cities for you.

Interesting pic 4G Howard. Thanks for sharing. Its very hard to read the map and tell if my area is considered the high capacity or lower usage area. I would assume that it would be considered lower usage area.
Which area are you looking at in the Los Angeles Market?

Which phones will benefit from the network vision 3g upgrades?
All Sprint Devices that are compatible and runs on 3G EVDO will benefit from the Network Vision 3G Upgrades.

T-Mobile claims their 4G is so fast. Did you notice that they tested their 4G Smartphone with Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon iPhone 4S? The iPhone 4S doesn't even use 4G Technology. How misleading is that?
-
Remember that the speeds being tested on LTE is on a non-congested tower with a few users utilizing the tower.

Fireproofing in apartments can cause lower signal strength.

IPv4 is the only one being supported at this time for 3G/4G connections.
-
I wonder if it will ever support IPv6.
