By 2014. S4GRU knows it is launching sooner. We will have an article about it soon.

Do you know if Sprint will offload its traffic to Clearwire 2500 MHz LTE before it gets to its 800 MHz LTE?
-
It looks like Sprint 800 MHz LTE is set for launch in 2014. It is a good possibility now that Sprint will definitely take advantage of Clearwire 2500 MHz LTE that is set for launch in 2013 to reduce its traffic first before it can take advantage of its 800 MHz LTE.

How's the voice quality? I know that Clearwire doesn't offer voice anymore, but I'm just curious.
It is pretty good voice quality, and it works well when I am using the internet.

So is it possible that Apple will have 3 different versions of the iPhone for the US alone, all with different radio setups? That would sure put a hamper on interoperability.
Anything is possible. That is how Steve Jobs became a successful pioneer in technology.

You have Clearwire for home phone service? Nice.
I have the VoIP Service since the Voice Plans were available last year. I am currently on a Home and Mobile Internet and Voice Bundle Plan.

I have T-Mobile for personal use. Sprint for work. Clearwire for home and mobile internet use.

Yes.
Which ones? I use OpenDNS.

What DNS Server do you use with your Internet Service Provider? Please mention the ISP.
-
You bet. I prefer Google's DNS servers of 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. I doubt where Sprint's servers are would make much of a difference but I would bet that they would be slower and more problematic then Google's.
There was a big East Coast outage where a specific model of card could not get to any webpage unless you used its IP address. Sprint took a couple of weeks to find and fix that so I just changed people to Google.
Have you tried any other DNS Servers such as OpenDNS?
-
Can using other DNS Servers like OpenDNS show significant changes to service?
-
Sprint has their own DNS servers.
Where are their locations?

What company does wireless companies use for DNS Servers?

There can be an option where I can hide a post to prevent overcrowding. It can show the top 5 unless I show all.
-
I mean if I post a topic I can archive it so it won't be moved up to the top if something is posted, but it will still be there. Just not on the top.
-
No. Posts are forever.
Robert
Can you consider archiving in the future? Maybe once Nextel and LightSquared is completely dead!
-
Is there anyway a post can be archived?
-
It could be any site. However, the one at Cesar Chavez High School really is intriguing to me. It's also on public property and will be easier to access, most likely.

Are those usually a Unipole/Micropole?
-
I thought most if not all if those just used one of the major carriers.
I believe some of them started deploying a small 4G LTE Coverage Footprint in some areas and have some voice/data antennas on towers.
-
You might want to make this topic PINNED.

Has anyone ever seen a Cricket, Cellular South, MetroPCS, or U.S. Cellular antenna on a tower?

Are band-aid fixes done by the local engineer that does not travel out of a market?

Should Sprint have about the same number of sites planned on 800 MHz LTE by June 2013 like Clearwire?
