  1. Holy Shnikies! Lol. The day I see that down here in Cincinnati I'll definitely freak out lol. I know for a fact 3 blocks from my house sprint has a site, and also former Clearwire did as well, so I'm hoping when its upgraded they'll give us some B41. Its all a matter of waiting at this point. 2. Ha! Thats odd, you'd think it would be the opposite. Is this tower completely live? BTW have you been able to connect to B41 and how fast was it? Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  3. Oh ok. perhaps upgrades then. I'm in a partially launched market, however with this triband phone I cant pick up lte in places where other non tri-band phones do, until deployment is done. I only get lte in areas where they have "clustered" lte service. Hence my question. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  4. Did you just get your tri-band phone? Are you in a officially launched market? It's a common issue on these phones. It's been mentioned on other forums. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  5. I'm ready to connect to some full lte, I only get seconds of it several times during the evening here. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  6. I'd say definitely, especially if you are connecting to a tower 29 miles away. I connected to one off of 471, here in the Mainstrasse area last night, first time ever. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  7. Not sure how much better, I do know that it being a lower frequency it travels much farther than 1900. I would suspect it would be better, but I really havent had the chance to try it out. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  8. Lol, yeah these new phones have that symbol now, my S5 does to, quite the way to get one all excited lol. If I'm not mistaken band 26 is the lte on 800mhz. But dang I like what you are seeing. Do you use Sensorly to track this? I drove through Newport yesterday but didnt pick up any lte I will say the signals were on crack though. Quite erratic. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  9. You sure it's Spark? Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  10. I'm connecting to 1X 800 here in Florence now, right off of Turfway. Hoping they are working on the Turfway site, and that's why I'm seeing the 1X 800 coming from a tower further away. .... hoping hoping lol :-) Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  11. 51100 is the PRL the device is showing. Whats interesting is that I was on the phone, so I'm not quite sure how long it had been this way. When I noticed, it changed a few minutes after taking the screen shot. I was also thinking the same about the site I normally connect to, being down. I know for the past two hours I've been loosing data connection off and on. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  12. Hey guys I actually picked up 1x 800. It's from one of the towers that was recently updated in Newport KY. 3+ plus miles from here (Covington) for about 5 minutes or so. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  13. I looked at the latest Map and that particle site has no updates. Not sure if that means they haven't gotten to it yet, or if there was an update in the past. I will say I'm liking all the updates around me :-) Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  14. Perhaps, although I know Clearwire had a site on W. 4th St in Covington, same building top as Sprint's site. Its about 3 bkocks from the house. If I'm not mistaken band41 is the 2.5Ghz that was formerly Clearwire's. Could that perhaps be the culprit? Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  15. Yep, the times I've checked it showed Band41 and the other 3 bands, but 41 was the only one that had information. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  16. Seems like they are working from all directions in towards downtown. Basing it on Sensorly of course. At home in Covington every now and then my LTE icon lights up for a few seconds, several times a day. I can only assume its testing. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  17. Is this the latest update? Also by accepted they mean completely upgraded? Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  18. Hey who knows we probably end up getting Spark here, to compensate those who've been suffering for the past year or so. I know Cincinnati was a Clearwire market. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  19. I just signed up with sprint last Saturday, I have an S5. I live in Covington and every now and then I get spurts of 4G and 3G speeds aren't horrible compared to downtown. What keeps me hopeful is that the places I do get lte its really good. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  20. Yeah I keep on hearing June, but at this rate doesn't look like that will be the case. Gonna be a tough choice letting go 9f this beauty of a phone though lol Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  21. Was thinking more like the Note 3. Um still with in my 14 day grace period. 3G is way to slow ... anything to make it usaable lol Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  22. Wondering if I should wait out this NV completion or switch to a non tri-band device. This not being able to connect to lte while a few around me can is a killer lol. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  23. Well about time they got on their behinds. Cause I hate to admit it, at the rate they are going, the "4th" carrier will soon surpass. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  24. So is it common to hear from Sprint that they will be done with upgrades within 6 months? Lol. Just here thinking, if we add all the days of bad weather we will have, it could take longer.. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  25. BTW thank you for that post yesterday, I also did the same thing, but was not able to pick any lte. Hence my assumption that perhaps it was being tested at the time and someone was lucky enough to pick it up and trace it. :-) Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
