  1. Thanks, that makes sense. So then does anyone know when Sprint might officially 'turn-on' 1x800 for the VA/DC/MD ? Just wondering...
  2. Thanks for your response.... Does anyone have any idea as to why Sprint seems to be disabling the 1x 800 on the NV towers in the VA/DC/MD area?
  3. That is great news that you saw 1x800 in Alexandria VA. As I mentioned in another thread, I personally have only seen it in the Backlick Rd area of Alexandria VA. So it seems to me that Alexandria VA may be the only area that currently has 1x800 deployed. Does anyone know if Sprint plans to add 1x800 to any other area in the NoVA or DC area?
  4. Forgive me, but since I typically access via Tapatak, I don't see the maps... So could anyone tell me if there are plans of any 800 mhz sites in Northern Virginia. I am getting 1900 LTE through out Northern Virginia and in much of DC and some Maryland...but no 800mhz voice or data. As I had previously reported, I have only seen the 800mhz notification 'light-up' in one place in the whole Washington DC/Northern Virginia/Southern Maryland area. Just wondering if any sites in the area are planed and if so, when they might go live.
  5. I actually remember those cars!
  6. Maybe this is the wrong place to ask this, but your post AJ, got me thinking... I have noticed that when my phone is on 1x only, I seem to not have a data connection. What I mean, is I cannot do a Google search, browse the web, or use any apps that require data (like Tapatak) when I only have a 1x connection. So my question is... Is the 1x connection on Spirit only used for Voice and Text?
  7. Mike, It only happens occasionally. Also, I am running stock HTC Sense 5.0 with the newly installed Android 4.3.
  8. Mike, I have an HTC One [M7], and I have noticed that happens to me too. The first few times, I thought the 1x signal bar provided by SignalCheck were hidden because I had too many notifications, but then I noticed it when I had cleared the notifications. If I see it happen again, I will take a Screen Shot.
  9. Most of Fairfax County seems to the Network Vision LTE upgraded as does Arlington County, and a large portion of Alexandria (please note, this is just from my own personal experience using SignalCheck app) I, however, have no idea about downtown Washington DC.
