Ok...so the company I work for switched to BYOD last year. They, however, are still supporting a single Blackberry used by multiple employees at a security desk. The company is considering shutting down the BES server soon and the Blackberry will need to be replaced with either an Android phone or an iPhone. So if the Blackberry is replaced with an Android phone...is there any way to block the download of apps on an Android phone. The company does not want the guards buying apps or being distracted playing games. Please let me know if there is a way to block the download of app either through the device or though the carrier. Just wanted to mention I live in NoVA...and I seems they are doing something with the towers near me. The other day driving near a particular area, I noticed I was completely unable to connect to the internet while connected to WiMax 4G. I thought there was something wrong either with my browser or my phone. Happened toggle off my 4G and in 3G everything was fine. KCT - "No Matter Where You Go, There You Are!"

It seems to me that Apple is trying to stop all Smartphones from being sold except iPhones. Even though Blackberry is dying, I wild not be suprised if Apple goes after RIM too. If some how Apple is successful, we will all wind up owning nothing but iPhones. I will admit, I am sounding like an Apple hater.
