My phone will not ring when connected to LTE. It will only ring when it's on 3g. If I place it on LTE or global I get nothing but 3g only works fine. My wife's phone works fine most of the time but mine won't work at all. Anybody have any idea what is causeing this?

Yes, they can install small cells with most frequencies, but actually installing them is another thing.
Supposedly small cells will be part of NV 2.0.

Which one is the right one to zip?
The one with KRT01B in it.

This was suspected to be the case, but has proven wrong by many people's experiences. The .15 radio is the only radio that will easily pick up B26, eCSFB enabled or not. .17/.23 simply do not connect to band 26 like they should even when eCSFB is fully activated. Personally, I run .15 all the time because most of the B26 around me is eCSFB enabled. On the off chance I hit a new B26 tower I can always force 2G/3G to call/text..15 will take B26 that doesn't have eCSFB, but you should have no problem with ready-to-go B26 on any radio.

I think there might be something wrong with PCI at some sites. Just yesterday I was trying to match a tower on the map to my signal check logs to confirm B26, but I couldn't find the right PCI anywhere in the area where I picked up the 26.So I noticed something. My local tower started giving me B26 and now the PCI is wrong on B25. I am sitting on the 02 side and the PCI is showing 21 instead of 241. 72 is the 01 side. The PCI when it's in B26 same sector is showing correctly 241. It's not a Signal Check issue as the LTE Engineering screen also shows 21. I don't have any other PCI 21 in my Signal Check logs as I haven't been traveling much since I cleared and imported a database.
On a secondary note I have 05622B02 271 in my Signal Check log on May 18 6:48pm which is Rockwood S Middle School which is the first time I've seen it again since I originally captured it a month ago one night.

.17 will only connect to CSFB ready sites.
.15 will connect regards of CSFB status.
The reception is about the same on both radios. I haven't seen many people having luck connecting to B26 on the .17 radio.
The B26 sites all around me have eCSFB already but .17/.23 will not connect no matter what I try. .15 works great and will happily park on B26 all the time.

Throttling policies aren't in effect yet.So I have been throttled. It didn't make sense because it was midnight, on a never congested tower, and Slacker couldn't even stream music on it very well. Download speed of .5mbps and upload of almost 7mbps. The .5 should of been plenty for streaming though. Pings were normal

Right now band 41 is primarily being deployed on the old clear towers. Some sprint towers are being upgraded for the second time with the new 8T8R antennas for band 41, but this is still in early stages. Regardless, the current state of the network upgrades have no effect on the software update.Could it be that these are integrated with current towers and aren't just repurposed clear towers?

Are we really still posting this blogspam? It's a maintenance update. No big functional or visual changes will be made until the next major release.Interesting

Also, that article took all the information from this AP article http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/05/09/rumor-google-exploring-home-screen-overhaul-with-revamped-notification-shade-recents-menu-and-more/.

Yeah with new LTE towers in Ericson markets it takes about a week for the software to be updated for eCSFB. I'm in an Ericson market as well (Missouri market)Oklahoma City. Based upon the OK thread Ericson has some issues the tower is newly updated

I've never seen a tower issue like that. How long have you been having problems?I continue to have problems with calls on this thing. Stock .23 radio, but the dang tower doesn't know that it has CSFB problems, so it still connects via lte... And then no more phone calls. I always have to force 3g only when at or near home. So frustrating. ???? Drive an hour to the nearest corporate store... And of course works absolutely flawlessly. *Sigh*

Will an unactivated phone show an lte signal strength on Scp. I am trying to figure out if I am having ecsfb issues on my s5
Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
You should still be able to see signal strength. eCSFB issues are area related, what area are you in?

And @evleaks is always right?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
I don't trust him despite his track record.
All other things being equal, I'd be willing to upgrade for svlte, but I suspect that will also be missing from the Snapdragon 810. Haven't been able to find info saying either way, though.

SVLTE is never coming back. With the move to VoLTE it will not be necessary.

This contradicts @evleaks reports. I guess we wait and see. http://www.xda-developers.com/android/nexus-6-and-8-names-appear-in-chromium-code-review/

I wouldn't put too much faith in that. The developers could just be trolling.

Yeah Verizon licensed droid from lucasfilm because they had a trademark on the word Droid. Blade runner also referenced Nexus 4s and 5s so I can't see the Nexus 6 being an issue. They don't have a trademark for the use of nexus 6 either.Maybe not. Verizon licensed Droid didn't they? Then again I have no clue. I'm just arm chair quarter backing this one.

Picked up B26 from a site 2.2 mi (straight line) away from my house while inside today. Propagation on 800 is very nice. I should note the land between me and the tower is covered in housing and I'm located in a valley.

Wouldn't there be a copyright issue with Nexus 6? Isn't t at the line of replicates in the Blade Runner book and movie?
