  1. OK thanks for the info on the towers. I use wifi at the house but mms times out from time to time. I suppose that I will just have to drive to a site closer to a tower for mms.
  2. Actually it is outside of my house on the patio as well that I am seeing this. I am in the Houston area.
  3. I have just noticed that the towers in my area reflect 3G/4G on the upgrade maps. Based on that information it would seem that my area is done with at least the 1900 part. I have checked around my house on the engineering screen of my iPhone 5 and it has a signal strength of -114 which I don't believe is too great. I am getting download speeds of 900k and 60k up pretty consistently. I am roughly 2 miles from the nearest towers (across flat land as in my area the only hills that we have are overpasses). Am I safe to assume that (barring any device changes) that this is as good as it it going to get based on my proximity to the tower?
  4. The link above that discusses possible termination of all the add agencies.
  5. That link seems to confirm my long held suspicion that the network upgrade strategy is now being driven by a marketing strategy in which Sprint can claim that they have as big of an LTE footprint as any other provider (even if the LTE performance is poor). Now it seems like the head man wants somebody that can put lipstick on a pig better that the last crew.
  6. I am in the Atascocita, Texas area and I have a question regarding a tower. The tower is on a map of sites that Nobius compiled and the Site ID is XXXXXXXX. This tower is close to where I live but I don't see it listed on the main NV roll-out maps nor does it appear on the Sprint network website. Is it possible that this tower is going out of service (77346 zip code Atascocita Road and Timber Forrest is about where the tower is located)? Thanks
