Funny. I did think it was interesting that while in Columbus, Ohio this morning I was getting almost 1.5 mbps down and .6 mbps up on 3g. If Sprint could just keep those speeds as the normal I would have no issue with 3G as those speeds are more then sufficient to browse the internet. In Cleveland we are lucky to get .3 down on a good connection.

Thats interesting. So if you watch your LTE status in the debug menu when the phone scans Band 41 will it just simply not connect until you cycle airplane mode?

When I am just on 1900 MHZ and the phone searches for LTE I am loosing 3g. Interesting though if I am in signal check I still show full signal on 1X and 3g the phone itself is just not processing it and I get a not connected to mobile network error. This could also be due to the fact that in Cleveland the last week or so I keep switching between eHarpd and EV-DO which is not pleasent as EV-DO generally also fails to be detected by the device. The eHarpd/EVDO-Issue was also present on the Note 3 but not on the Iphone 5s.

This is not just Band 41 though it is also band 25.

Ok it appears that when the phone searches for LTE on band 41 and 25 it drops 3G data connection. That is really going to get old. Is this a result of the single antenna issue. I just returned a Note 3 for this phone and this could be a major problem. Also, why does the phone idle on LTE Band 50?

I was able to pull the following speedtest on the outskirts of Columbus, Ohio today on I-71. Interesting in the actual citys of Cleveland or Columbus I can't get LTE. I could not connect at all until I updated my profile. My Speedtest result in Marengo for Sprint (LTE) : 25.21 Mb/s (download) & 10.54 Mb/s (upload) via #sensorly. Ping was 86 when using speedtest app. Does anybody else see an issue where the phone signal drops to nothing every minute or so and the 3g data drops for about 10 seconds then comes back. I have been experiencing this all day. Possibly due to a week LTE signal near by? I also connected from eHarpd to EV-DO at one point yet my phone would not recognize the EV-DO date until I reset my data connection.

I seem to be having the same issues of only connecting when high up. Is this due to the fact that Sprint just has the signal power turned way down currently or due to buildings blocking a further away signal? While I was high when I received LTE the last 2 days I did not receive the signal earlier in the week or prior. I wonder what tower went live or received a signal strength bump.

Today I was able to receive LTE on the 21st floor of the Cuyahoga COunty Justice Center and I received Sprint 800 SMR in the basement of the old Courthouse. Whats odd is that the 800 MHZ showed up as roaming but signal check showed the tower as Sprint. LTE: 1275 Ontario Street, Cleveland Tower RSRP: -113 dBm (12asu) RSRQ: -7 dB, SNR: 11.6 dB Carrier: Sprint (310120) -70 dBm 1xRTT (Did not have time to run a speed test as I was getting on an elevator) 1x 800: Connected to: 1xRTT 800 Carrier: Sprint RSSI: -100 dBm, Ec/lo: -29.0 dB Now tower information provided (For some reason this network showed as roaming, could this be due to the fact that I am on PRL 16016?) For the first time in years I received usable signal in the elevators of the Justice Center. Additionally, I received signal in the tunnel between the Justice Center and old courthouse and in the basement of the old courthouse which I have never received before. When i say usable I mean around -100 dB give or take. I can only hope this improves a bit more. I will attempt to speed test LTE tomorrow if I can capture the signal again when I am over there. As I stated I captured LTE on the 21st floor and kept it a few floors down in the elevator. On the first floor I could not receive any LTE signal at all. Does anyone have any information of what is going on downtown or when the full LTE signal may go live? I am currently on a Note 3. Does anyone have any idea if I switch to the LG G2 if the antena (in addition to being tri-band) will be as strong or stronger than the Note 3. This phone has the best phone and Wifi antenas by far of any sprint phone I have had.

Sprint currently testing 1900 LTE on the E 9 3rd street tower by the juvenile justice center. Signal keeps turning on and off. Speed resembles 3g .65 maps but 61 ping.

Does anybody know what has been going on downtown the last few days? The 1275 Ontario tower keeps switching between ehrpd and evdo. Strangely, when it is on evdo I cannot get a connection. Sometimes it showed connected and I get no Internet and other times I have no connection. 1Xrtt signal is strong. Any word on when 1900 lte may go live downtown. I purchased a note 3 as I like the phone for business purpose but am thinking if 1900 lte is not on and stable soon I will need to swap into the LG go as win max always worked in my office on public square and the justice center.

Is 2600 LTE currently turned on downtown and or in Painesville/Mentor? Long time reader and first time poster. Thank you for all of the hard work.
