You see. That's the thing you don't get. For the people that abuse I'm all about sprint doing what they have to do. But for people who occasionally go over some leniency just makes sense.

+1 couldn't agree with You more!! One thing is people who abuse. Another is someone who occasionally travels to a non sprint area.

But that's the thing... I rarely roam. I went there for one week. I'm not an abuser so I just wish they cracked down on abusers, not people who occasionally travel somewhere sprint chooses not to serve anymore.

No need to be snappy. Most people I know use their phone for business and travel around the country. Anchorage is the biggest city in one of our states. We're not talking about another country.

Sometimes you don't have much of a choice. I went to alaska this month and spent a week there. Sprint doesn't have any native coverage so I used 175 Mbps of roaming while there. My plan only includes 100...

So the store was able to have me added to my bf's account and for him to switch to the new family plan. 20 gigs will be more than we could ever use and I'll go from spending 75$ to about 50. Not bad.

The thing I don't get is they told me I can just go and get a new phone and that would make me eligible. That makes no sense. I don't want a new phone at all at this time. When I upgrade I will go and get a phone and do the byop. Pay cash and activate it in sprint.

How do I know? It says I'm eligible to upgrade through easy pay on my account online....

Ok, I just called Sprint to check eligibility and they are basically telling me I'd have to get a new phone and pay on installments to get the new plans WTF?! When Easy Pay came out I got an email encouraging me to upgrade. I did that, but I paid for the phone up front in cash instead of in installments. I thought at that time I switched from getting discounts to getting on easy pay and that's why I was able to get on Framily to begin with. But no, they are saying i'm not eligible for the new plan b/c of that. While the new plan is not *that* much cheaper than what I have now, this just annoys me. On top of that the cs agents I spoke to sounded like they were brand new. Is the information they provided me correct?

So I have a framily of one. My bf has a framily of two. We could not merge them bc they didn't allow existing customers to join another customer's framily. Could we now merge the two framilies into a family share pack? He gets a 20% discount. Does that mean he gets $20 off and therefore 80 +15+15+15?

I know, I'm hoping the new individual plan will be better than the one I have now, but I'm intrigued by the new plans should I end up with more lines. Would I have to pay the 15 dollars if those lines are new to sprint and ported from att?What happens if you don't do the 5/month? When can you upgrade?

Ok... I'm totally lost... I've had sprint since September last year and have the framily program. i'm on easy pay and pay the 50 + 20 and get the cu discount off the 20 so 2 bucks off. How much would I pay if i switched to one of the new programs? What about if I had two new lines to Sprint that came over withme?

I may try getting them an airave here in ABQ when they come visit in a couple of weeks. May have better luck by then and with the ABQ CS folks.

The coverage map actually does show that little sliver as roaming. Check it out, it's kinda unreal. It's one block north of Riverside Dr by Matthews and Leroy. Still showing as roaming only service according to the sprint coverage map.

So a couple of months ago, I went to visit some folks in Binghamton and the service is relatively spotty in the area around Matthews street and Leroy St. So spotty that my parents wanted to inquire about switching to Sprint and getting a signal booster for their house and the Sprint store said they couldn't b/c there was no service there. Any idea as to why there's that dead spot in the middle of the city and if the NV upgrades will fix that?
