In the case of Puerto Rico market, the DL CA,  can it  uses B13 instead of B26  or we just cant  take advantage of this..?

I suspect that CA with B13 is not included. I have a feeling this phone was in development before that deal happened, so the thought wouldn't have been there yet. However, you should see expanded B41 usage across the island when they are able to start upgrades again.

  2. Interesting that my Note5 specific device coverage on the website isn't showing the new LTE+ and LTE Roaming?  I'm certain it qualifies, right?

Super pumped to have LTE roaming in Western Wisconsin!!!  Even with the 300mb cap, it'll be great to not have to wait for eons for anything to load.

Is it showing for you without choosing your device? I had to load the coverage map in a separate broswer to get it to show up.

Device specific LTE roaming does not appear to be updated.

  3. any word when they will start work in the Muskogee, OK area? I just want to know when i should get a new phone or just stay with the ones i have already

Work is underway in the Oklahoma market. We cannot say when work is going to start in any one location. You should check the forums for more up-to-date information on the Oklahoma market.

  4. Has anyone heard when Salt Lake City, Utah will get LTE 4g? My signal is usually pretty stable except for a few spots (slow but fairly stable) suddenly yesterday I was losing data connection on Friday during commute back via train. Last time I had a cell act like that I was on another cellular network and they were implementing 3g. I could be full of it.....Just curious to know if anyone has heard anything yet I know its not on any of the running lists.

Right now, I don't think we have any more information other than later this year. I don't know what stage of the planning process the Utah market is in.

You would likely have better luck with an answer in the Markets section of the forums.

  5. Has anyone gotten word on when Sprint might announce Orange County as an active deployment market?

Sprint is actively deploying NV equipment in Orange county. Approximately 8% of sites in the area have received 3G upgrades. In the next couple of weeks, 4G sites will likely begin to be added. It may be up to a month or so before we start to see LTE go live in the area. At this point, the official launch is many months away, which is likely why Sprint has yet to mention Orange county in any of it's press releases.

  6. Robert, when the first site of LTE will go live for South Texas (Harlingen/Brownsville/McAllen)? Or when it be available for us?

We know that work is now underway in that area, but it is hard to say when the first sites will go live. We don't have access to that kind of information. Probably in the next two months or so.

  7. so whats up with the info "drought" so to speak on the network? Its been over a month and there has been no new info!

There was a fresh list of cities announced earlier this month. The info was placed in a thread rather than an article on the wall. I expect to see new cities officially launch with LTE in the next week.

Here was the latest list from a couple weeks ago: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/3034-sprint-marketing-updates-4g-lte-city-list-where-work-is-under-way-and-adds-28-more-communities-including-michigan-and-arizona/

  8. Coverage is Coverage.LTE or otherwise. LTE towers will be supporting not just LTE but both spectrum's of service. So, yes it does pertain to my devices.Since they removed all the Nextel towers, their non LTE towers are fewer and fewer. The towers will cover LTE & Non LTE Devices. 4g Support on these two devices has increased since the LTE towers went up however it is far from what this map shows as being covered.

LTE coverage is not the same as WiMax. It is not even close, not only is the signal different, but WiMax is located in many cases on completely different towers than LTE. Sprints towers are not supporting "both spectrum's of service" as you say. They are only broadcasting 3G and LTE.

These maps show LTE coverage. WiMax coverage has not, and will not change until it is turned off sometime in or after 2015. Clear is no longer deploying WiMax cells, so what you have is what you get.

Your phones utilize Clearwire's WiMax signal for 4G. They are not capable of using Sprint's LTE signal. In order to use the improved LTE coverage, you will need a different phone.

  9. Joplin is extreme SW of Missouri, I can't see how that is related to St Louis any more than Kansas City was.

Joplin is in the Missouri market. Just as Wichita is in the Kansas City market. Since Sprint is updating markets, not individual cities, if they start work in Joplin, it would be assumed they are also working elsewhere in the Missouri market, ie. Springfield, Rolla, St. Louis.

  10. Where is Minneapolis? How does this not make the list, it's a huge market and acoarding to this site it should be underway in the next few months I'm disssapointed.

Because it launches after the start of next year. Check out some of the other comments, these cities are what is expected by the end of THIS year. Nothing was included about next year.

Same goes for the west coast and Detroit.
