  1. Nope. It's always been only T-Moble and Verizon. Nextel/IDEN is easy to find locations doing an FCC license/tower search as each area was specifically licensed vs the general regional licenses they have now. Nextel/Sprint was only at Parkridge & Sleepy Hollow near here. Unless someone pulled the permit in Sprints name on accident, I'm really hoping they do put some gear at that location. The location on Blanding next to Bowl America also shows a Sprint permit.

Here is a drawing I just put togeher real quick from my house off Pawnee St.

Yeah its weird..... and the permit was pulled over a year ago. I havent seen any signs of another carrier moving in on that tower. It would even be nice if they just put B41 there.

I know about the tower on Blanding at the bowl America. I have got some of the fastest speeds on that tower.

  2. That's what I was thinking. But there is a permit. I bet because AT&T owns the tower that clear is on now across blanding, they needed something to fill in the gap. Plus the tower on parkridge with the nest on it can't be upgraded anytime soon. Another gap. I'd be really happy to have this tower go active because I'm in that gap in Tanglewood. I get LTE from Sleepy Hollow (which isn't that bad of signal).

    Permit #: 13030442

    Address: 9 KNIGHT BOXX RD

    Owner: SPRINT

    Contractor: MORGAN ELECTRIC

    Scope: ELECTRICAL ANTENNA CO LOCATE

I wonder if iden use to be on that tower because Verizon and T-Mobile are the only 2 on that tower right now. Sprint and clearwire have never been on that tower.

  3. Looking back over my testing. It looks like the Sleepy Hollow location does have B41

    -98 0208A201 8320 B41 Sleepy Hollow Tower

There are two towers on Sleepy Hollow. According to some of the information I read, Clearwire was on one of the towers and Sprint/Nextel was on the other tower.

Here is a photo of the 2nd tower that I assumed is not Sprint. Anyone know more about this location?

This is the tower I connect to at home and I have yet to connect to B41. I drive right past the towers all the time and nothing, not sure what's up.

  4. How's cfsb issues? Any? Acquiring band 41? Easy? Thanks.

I have no problem connect to B25 and I seem to get it in all the same places I got on my M7. However, I havent been seeing as much B41 as I thought I would and one tower that I know has B41 with "turbo" or enhanced backhaul on it, I cant seem to connect to it even after cycling airplane mode multiple times.

    My apologies

If you are looking for written documentation, in the below thread, Robert clearly states Sprint will deploy 1X Advanced on 1900MHz PCS.

I am not trying to be peevish about this but I clicked the link you provided and went through the tread, Robert doesn't even have a post in it and no one states 1x advance will be deployed on 1900. I not saying your wrong but I have never heard anything from sprint saying they where doing this and for the life of me I can't understand why they would do it and be quite about it.

I must of copied the wrong link it's in this one and here's a screenshot of the post

  6. That thread never settled on an answer. In any case no one there provided a statement from sprint saying 1xadvanced was being deployed on 1900 and I have never heard sprint say they where going all the way back to the early days of NV and the webinar they put out have only ever said 1 xadvanced was being deployed on 800. Since hd voice requires 1x advanced hd voice is only on 800. If you have information about sprint's plans saying that they are deploying on 1900 I would love to see as it would be news to me and I like finding out new things.

    My apologies

  7.

You are correct in that HD voice only works when 1X Advanced is deployed but I can promise you that Sprint is deploying 1X Advanced on both 1900 and 800Mhz frequencies. I have had many HD voice calls here in Jacksonville, FL and was connected to 1XRTT the whole time.

  8. I might have caught that this morning once I was north of Old Jennings. Slightly better signal in that area. Will need to map it out.

I did notice that today was the first day in a few weeks that I didnt get EHRPD errors when I left the house and airave and finally flipped to 3G. Probably not connected, but interesting that they are working in this area.

Recently I seem to be experiencing a lot of hard handoffs when dropping LTE. It seems as though EHRPD isn't working properly or they are messing with something.
