What's band does metro pcs use for LTE
-
How much of 900mhz does Sprint have and what can they do with it after Nextel is done.
-
Do you think they will still use the SMR bands after the public safety network is up and running

I know this is an old post quoted here but it got me thinking...
If they leave the 800mhz antenna in each sector/panel unhooked and just plan on coming back to connect with a carrier card and get LTE800 up then..... Then how are ones getting 800 cdma 1xAdvanced currently?....
Whole reason I was thinking is I know there are 3 antennas in each sector panel one cdma 1900, one lte1900, and one 800... Question is if the 800mhz antenna is going to support both 1xadvance and lte, and if that's the case then why can't the 1900mhz antennae handle both cdma and lte signals at same time?... Jw bc I thought for 800 lte they'd have to add another panel and the current one initially installed would be hooked up to 1xadvance and just waiting on them to turn it on...

My guess is that you can only do two things on one antenna like 1x/lte or 1x/evdo not all three that's just a guess

If I'm on 800 should I still get 1900 EVDO for data.
-
Where are you located?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that means your phone is seeing 1x on 800mhz right now.
yes at my house i get 800 from a tower in mas. i live on the border of MA/CT/RI

That EV-DO Rev A indicator references the PCS carrier (e.g. PCS 0650). Network type indicator usually reflect the highest protocol revision network to which you are connected. EV-DO Rev A is a higher protocol revision than is CDMA1X. If you were connected to LTE, it would indicate that instead.

but whenI'm on 1900 it says im eHRPD i thought it was weird.

When I'm on 800 and go into settings network it says that I'm on evdo rev a. any reason why

When I go into the DEBUG screen in 1x engineering I have band class 10 channel 476 but in EVDO engineering I have band class 1 and channel 675

What do the quad pole antennas look like. They nust put new ones up near my house
I don't think there quad poles. When CT updates there site they just write what ever they want.it should look like all the pix of new hardware that's already been show on this site.

Sprint is the only telecommunication company to keep the same name since it started it's business and I like that about the company.if you change the name people will still ask what happened to Sprint oh they just changed there name to so and so or when someone is getting a new carrier and see a new name they might say I don't know this carrier so I'm not going to get them when I know these brands (Verizon/T-Mobile/at&t) better.

It would be a good deal if it's was 24% of Clearwire's owned (BRS) spectrum. but 24% of total BRS/EBS is crazy.

They deal sounds fishy to me.

800mhz prl
in HTC
I need the link to the custom 800mhz prl and need to know how to load I it on my EVO LTE thanks.
-
I don't think there's another suitor. And clearwire really only owns about 55mhz the rest is leased.

Maybe you should contact Sprint customer service to see if they can get you an AirRave. Our company purchased one for my coworker who lives in a terrible area for Sprint coverage and every since he's gotten it he has had no issues.
I have the newest one but I don't use it because when I'm on a phone call the other person on the line can hear a beeping noise when my screen goes off on my EVO LTE. But I haven't tried it out after the JB update.

Welcome to my world this is what I go thru all day when I'm home. I guess it's normal if you live on the edge of the network.
