  1. I was thinking more along the line of type and number of cables run from the tower to CL. (If that is the correct way to phrase it) i do not know anything about fiber. Just was wondering if T-Moble runs their own will Sprint have to run a new and separate line.
  2. I saw the ground ouside the tower is marked for digging. Do you know the fiber requirement for sprint on its towers? I am sure that this dig is in relations to T-Mobile current upgrade. If I can catch the dig crew working maybe I can ask some intelligent questions and find out how much fiber is being run.
  3. Some people are saying it can take up to five days for someone to be linked to Framily plan. Of it is taking that long how are they taking care of the one who sign up for a plan then finding out days later that there is no slots available?
  4. I had five added to my plan yesterday. Don't know if it was because of this or not

  6. I think the plans for AT&T and T-Mobile camels out to counter Sprints Framily plan. I am not sure but I think the big plus for sprint is the separate billing.
  7. Thank you Sprint. That $200 offer got me to seven today. Bet I will have ten tomorrow.
  8. I did not ask who he was with, and I did not see any company logos. I do not know of anyone else here who could provide back-haul other then CenturyLink. I do not think Baja Broadband would do that for them. the new box installed was right next to T-Mobile/At&T cabinets.
  9. So T-mobile has their AAV fiber box set up. So when fiber is actually run to the tower will this be the same fiber Sprint will use? or will they have to add additional fiber? If more fiber is going to have to be run, I wonder what are the chances that CL will put enough in with T-mobile install to cover what Sprint will want.
  10. So I ran into a crew working on the tower here in Alamogordo. The were setting up an AAV box and getting things ready for fiber. To bad they were doing it for T-Mobile. Sure hope Sprint is not far behind. The crew didn't know when the fiber was going to run. Maybe this is a good sign.
  11. I was thinking Las Cruces would of had some good pings. I know my test were off of at least thee towes. All were above 170. Good speeds though.
  12. So I got my Nexus today, I am noticing it is connecting EV-DO and not the eHRPD. Cycling does not seem to change it. my EVO still Shows eHRPD
  13. I received my first bill and it looks correct. They only had to prorate for 3 days for my old plan. Bill had the full price then then further down it had the discount for the two lines. I just wish I was having luck getting more people on my plan. So far no takers on a couple of the website I posted my id on. My wifes parents are thinking about it.
  14. I was in Hobbs today, Could not get my EVO LTE to connect 800. Updated PRLs and rebooted. no deal. At least they are getting much better downloads there. Use to be real bad. Pings were high so I do not think any back-hual is done.
  15. I was pretty ticked off. Called in a complaint about the store. (maybe I should not have). If they are tracking them all the have to do is sell it under my account. Both the store and sprint care said their is no charge for the card. There is no store in my town and this one is an hour away. I order one through sprint international but it is on back order and from comments here I can be in for a long wait. I can under stand that they do. Not want to had them out hand over fist. I just am not happy about having to make a special trip to get it. I am will be in the area of another corp store this weekend so will try in person this weekend. Maybe I will luck out.
  16. So I tried to get my wife to pick up a sim card from the Corp. store by her work. They told her they can not give her the card and that I have to take the phone to them to get activated. From what I have read they should have been able to give me one. Looks like I will have to wait for the back order one to come it.
  17. I skimmed it quickly so I did miss some of the links. I have posted on some. Just was wondering about the success rate. Would my data discount be on all the lines or just the two I started the plan with?
  18. So has anyone had luck getting people on their accounts though posting their Framily id?
  19. When I ordered my sim today, I was told back order was about a week. Sure hope it is not two months. I should have my phone on Monday.
  20. How much more is it to equip the phones to run on all carriers? In the next couple of years I bet it would not be hard at all. If all subsides die couldn't that bring in more competition phone and plans?
  21. Another thing I hope happens is all phone become unlocked. Would be nice to be able to take my phone with me if I move carriers. Though I am not saving money switching to framily, I do like not having to be on a contract. Pluse I can lower my bill when I find people to add. Let the phone wars begin,
