    there is a new HTC software update for 4.4.4,I'm no sure if I'm brave enough to test it, and if it fixed the issues from the previous version.

    What the hell. I'll try it. If I notice anything I'll report back.

    Is it safe to presume someone living in Hawaii has gotten good at doing the time conversion from EDT, EST, PDT, PST, etc etc on the fly due to most everything being published in that fashion? Just curious... I know growing up in CST/CDT I pretty much automatically subtracted an hour from whatever I heard (since everything was EST/EDT)... Now that I am in Eastern I am spoiled lol...

    While residents are good at computing the time conversion for California or New York, we do get confused at areas in between like Denver, since we may not know which zone they are in. And Daylight savings time will always throw us off since the date of the time change isn't publicized here. We learn to cope since some cable TV shows are on California time, so right now The Daily Show is at 8:00 but in the Spring it will start at 9:00.

    I haven't noticed any issues. Compared to my M7, the battery is fantastic. Almost as good as my Droid Maxx. I compared music to my iPod (same song, same ear buds) and the iPod was louder but had noticeable distortion. The M8 HK had a noticeably better dynamic range. All in all, I love mine. Until the next model comes out, then I'll be lusting after the new shiny thing. ????

    Can anyone explain to me why in the heck you would need a 20+ megapixel camera? Wouldn't that result in a really big file for each photo taken.

    Exactly. I really don't get the hate for the Ultra pixel camera. Like 90% of the Internet, I use my phone to take pictures of cats and food to post on Instagram. A 4 Megapixel Ultra pixel camera is perfect for these low light conditions.

    The sample size -- representative or not -- is statistically significant. But do we want to hear negative impressions from the madding crowd? No, we do not. And therein lies the rub. Certain factions seem to like highlighting Sprint's difficulties. And those negators bring into question why S4GRU does what it does for no profit.

    The sample size is certainly significant. And the conclusion that Sprint has a huge customer satisfaction problem is accurate. But to me, what's significant is Sprint upper management is well aware of this and is addressing it. It will not be corrected in a month with a new CEO. It will take years. Changing public perception takes time. Fortunately for current customers, the fruits of Sprint's corrective actions will be felt much sooner.

    and I could survey 10000 people wearing cowboys jerseys who their favorige NFL team was...the number means nothing, until you know how the 63k were represented. Ti be even a fair survey theyd have to take into markets, subdivide into sex, mae an equal percentage ratio of each market racial make up, income make uo, and a whole list of others. Surveys are not very general in this fact, no matter if its 63k surveyed.

    And how many of that 63k are current or former Sprint customers and how many are relying on what they heard at the water cooler four years ago.

    Okay so we've been called shills, fanboys, militants, cultists, astroturfers, sprint employees, sprint reps, unicorn lovers, nazi censors, liars, kool aid drinkers, circlejerkers, drug abusers who need to share what they're (smoking / snorting / etc), and... what else did i miss?

    Name-calling is the norm on the Internet. Once I was called both a libtard and a right-wing nut-job, in the same conversation, by the same person. I just replied, "Thanks Mom."

    5 hours after update, GPS hasnt broken once! We might be in business here!

    I didn't experience any issues at all with GPS during this morning's commute. I was looking forward to this part of the update more than the new camera features.

    Still no update, just a changelog that appears to be posted early. Let's hope we see this update soon, and with some fixes for other misc. issues.

    It should be soon. AT&T's Eye update is being delayed to incorporate VoLTE. I imagine ours is delayed to incorporate the other update. My bet is within a week.
