  1. You think Masa is really going to dump the entire sprint leadership team for tmobiles leadership? If u are marcelo or any of the sprint leadership team, why would u want this? I agree with u that it should be the tmobile leadership team that runs sprintmo.

  2. No more activity arrows or spinning sunflowers. Webpages just load without the distraction.

Would love to stick with HTC. I don't love the Samsung interface. But just based on the camera & display reviews I think I'm going to either do the S7 or maybe the Nexus 6P.

I was a loyal HTC user, but the 10 was released too late for me and I went with the S7. Wireless Charging and Samsung Pay are the bomb. Touchwiz was a bit jarring after Sense, but a different launcher mitigates the impact. All in all, I'm happy with this phone.

  3. I am looking to upgrade from my HTC One M7. It has mediocre RF performance at my office. I'd kind of like to stick with Sprint. Does anyone have any sense of whether I'm likely to have better luck with the S7?

I upgraded from an M8 to the S7 and noticed a big increase in performance.

  4. That's quite a bit of coin!

Meanwhile, Sprint has had to resort to multiple leasing vehicles to generate free cash and offload debt from the balance sheet.

    For this amount of money:

Son could have just about paid off Sprint's debt (~$33 Billion), leaving it free and clear; or

Son could have bought out the remaining shares of Sprint stock and take the company private; or

Or Son could have gotten Sprint a substantial chunk of nationwide 600 MHz spectrum in the current auction.

    etc....

    Am I missing something here?

It's double entry bookkeeping. Softbank gives Sprint money, you debit cash and credit... owners equity. I don't believe Softbank can own a larger stake in Sprint without taking it private and possibly running afoul of regulators.

  5. Got the notification for update APF2 just now. Going to run it now and see what happens.

This is my first Samsung device. I was a bit worried about their history of updates, but I'm impressed. A timely update each month. This is my first Samsung device, but it may not be my last.

  6. Wow. Big improvement. My phone silky and very fast. Be sure to have a fully charged battery and a lot time. It will take over an hour and about 40% of your battery.

  7. I have read comments from people on various sites who've had T-Mobile up until T-Mobile changed their policy on the unlimited plan to include their initial 21gb soft cap. These people have said they were going to move to Sprint, due to Sprint not having a soft cap on unlimited, despite many of these people claiming that T-Mobile still worked better for them.

However, now that Sprint has instituted the same policy T-Mobile now has at 23gb, I wonder if those people will go back to T-Mobile, making T-Mobile's network more congested and an even more restrictive policy put in place by their mighty dictator John Legere.

Is it the same policy? Depriortization is a LOT different from throttling.
