No more activity arrows or spinning sunflowers. Webpages just load without the distraction.
Would love to stick with HTC. I don't love the Samsung interface. But just based on the camera & display reviews I think I'm going to either do the S7 or maybe the Nexus 6P.
I was a loyal HTC user, but the 10 was released too late for me and I went with the S7. Wireless Charging and Samsung Pay are the bomb. Touchwiz was a bit jarring after Sense, but a different launcher mitigates the impact. All in all, I'm happy with this phone.

I have no problem getting a LTE connection everywhere I go on Oahu. How is the LTE availability now around Oahu? I care less about the speeds and more about actually being able to use data when I need it. I'm debating switching to either T Mobile or Sprint.

I upgraded from an M8 to the S7 and noticed a big increase in performance.I am looking to upgrade from my HTC One M7. It has mediocre RF performance at my office. I'd kind of like to stick with Sprint. Does anyone have any sense of whether I'm likely to have better luck with the S7?

Except for mine. They're all right. At least that's my opinion of my opinions.Yes. Yes. Of course they can be wrong. Most of them are wrong.

The original merger prospectus has a provision which outlines what SoftBank would have to pay for the remaining Sprint shares if its ownership stake in Sprint exceeds 85%:
Thank you. I remembered that there was some proviso that effectively capped their percentage of ownership.

It's double entry bookkeeping. Softbank gives Sprint money, you debit cash and credit... owners equity. I don't believe Softbank can own a larger stake in Sprint without taking it private and possibly running afoul of regulators. That's quite a bit of coin!
Meanwhile, Sprint has had to resort to multiple leasing vehicles to generate free cash and offload debt from the balance sheet.
For this amount of money:
Son could have just about paid off Sprint's debt (~$33 Billion), leaving it free and clear; or
Son could have bought out the remaining shares of Sprint stock and take the company private; or
Or Son could have gotten Sprint a substantial chunk of nationwide 600 MHz spectrum in the current auction.
etc....
Am I missing something here?

This is my first Samsung device. I was a bit worried about their history of updates, but I'm impressed. A timely update each month. This is my first Samsung device, but it may not be my last.Got the notification for update APF2 just now. Going to run it now and see what happens.

When I upgraded at a Sprint store, I paid upfront. Can you clarify this?
I upgraded on Saturday at Best Buy and was told 36 would appear on my next bill

No, I had a HTC M8.

I've noticed much better performance with my S7. It must latch onto band 41 easily.

What kind of phone are you using? This is what I got in Kaneohe today.

Wow. Big improvement. My phone silky and very fast. Be sure to have a fully charged battery and a lot time. It will take over an hour and about 40% of your battery.

I can't imagine what the cost would be if Apple decided to become a wireless provider. Something like 200 minutes /mo, 1000 texts, and 1gb data, no roaming, for $129/mo.
But it would be the iNetwork, and people would line up to give them their money.

I have read comments from people on various sites who've had T-Mobile up until T-Mobile changed their policy on the unlimited plan to include their initial 21gb soft cap. These people have said they were going to move to Sprint, due to Sprint not having a soft cap on unlimited, despite many of these people claiming that T-Mobile still worked better for them.
However, now that Sprint has instituted the same policy T-Mobile now has at 23gb, I wonder if those people will go back to T-Mobile, making T-Mobile's network more congested and an even more restrictive policy put in place by their mighty dictator John Legere.
Is it the same policy? Depriortization is a LOT different from throttling.

Hmm, I don't they'll be here for long.. Every Mobi PCS store I see is empty.
They were connected to Sandwich Islands and Albert Hee. When the FCC shut down that boondoggle, their source of capital dried up. Matter of time before they're in Bankruptcy Court IMHO. Maybe that's why their CEO is trying to get a Medical Marijuana license.

Ah, Maybe they weren't selling too well?
They must have made a terrible deal. They offer plans using Verizon and Sprint's networks. For $160, through Mobi, I can get 5gb of shared data on Sprint. Right now I pay Sprint $160 for 20gb of shared data. I don't know why they're still in business.
