HTC confirms the One will not come to Verizon.

Looks like VZW did the same thing they did with the sgs2. They chose an exclusive device over the more popular device.

I understand just feel like Verizion and Att had a faster deployment and even Metro PCS has 4G LTE in Ocala making Sprint the slowest carrier in my area when it comes to data. I know Sprint will be better once this is done but its killing me knowing that I had the first EVO 4G the day it came out June 4, 2010 and i'm still waiting on some form of 4G network from Sprint. Hard times when it takes mins to get a email and can't stream music or videos on the go in daylight and it only works at night and early morning
I wish I could apply to be a tech just to help them update the towers in my area and then quit when its complete lol
I can't wait until the day when att, VZW, and tmo are all bogged down and congested because they all chose to half ass their networks by concentrating on certain sites or skipping over sites just to get extra pops of 4g coverage instead of upgrading all their sites like sprint is doing with their build out. Even tmo here is Jacksonville are upgrading their sites pretty fast. We all know (those of us here on s4gru) that when sprint is done working we will have a top notch network with unlimited 4g data and lower pricing than all three carriers including tmo with their value plans and handset financing.

I've tried cycling airplane mode and rebooting still stuck on EVDO. Maybe its just the area near my home. I test things out when I leave home.

Every time I lose eHRPD, it comes back with a reboot.

Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk -
I'd also like to mention every time I see a sprint ad on facebook, the comment boxes are always filled with completely negative thoughts.
One person wrote "im with sprint worst mistake ever i hope this company dies in a fire"
Sprint needs to explain to the country what they are doing to their network a lot better than how they are now. And thats one thing they have failed terribly at.
Well I don't see this thread being open very long. People always going to say something negative about every company. Just so happen people say a little more negative things about Sprint. The way I see it they just complain about sprint to justify the high price they pay for wireless service on other carriers.

Day two without eHRPD. I'm wondering if its my phone or the network.

Has anyone's device been having a hard time picking up eHRPD?

Drove by that site again today and just as I expected the workers are building some type of support beam. The rack itself doesn't have anymore slots for panels. Hopefully it's for a sprint install. I'll try to get pix tomorrow.

I wish when they companies do these press events with the devices that they would have them available for immediate preorder like apple does.

FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE are supported...
Yeah but will it be all in one device or certain types of LTE for different regions of the world. For instance the US model is FDD only and the Asian models are TDD only.
-
I guess so. Looks like a nice device overall but I want to see which Sprint bands is supported with this device.

Are the sides made of aluminum like it was rumored or is it still plastic?
I believe it's all aluminum.

I saw some working going on today at the tower on the corner of Lem Turner Road and Trout River Blvd. I don't know if it was NV work. I didn't even see the workers installing panels just look like they were doing some welding on one of the racks. Hopefully, they were preparing the rack for Network Vision installs.

A lot of people just don't get it. Seems like no matter what sprint does right there's always going to be that focus on the negative. The majority of articles and comments are based on personal opinions and not facts and have no knowledge of how f'ed up Sprint was before Hesse took over.
