  1. Why do folks on this forum and on others automatically assume that if Sprint and T-Mobile merge John Legere will accept the role of CEO of the newly formed T-Mobile? My personal opinion is that Legere is put into the CEO role of T-Mobile currently. So that T-Mobile could form some type of merger. Upon completing a T-Mobile - Sprint merger Legere cashes out and ride off into the sunset richer than he was when he came in.
  2. I know Sprint and T-Mobile swapped spectrum a while back so that both Sprint and T-Mobile can do 20x20 in the PCS band in Jacksonville and some other places. I don't know about any other swaps.
  3. A few months ago. Sprint came in add 2.5 to some of the high traffic sites here in Jax.
  4. Done. What should we be looking out for?
  5. It was just a little joke with all the speculation behind why the T-Mobile and sprint executives were going to Japan and the Far East.
  6. I'll pour out a little liquor for HTC lol. They were actually good in recent years and lost focus.
  7. Maybe John Legere met up with Charlie Ergen in Denver. Now traveling to Germany to meet with the DT CEO.
  8. Really there's no need to attack each other. The customers they want are from the big 2. That's where Sprint and T-Mobile will get their customer adds.
  9. I imagine so. Sprint probably bumped up the bandwidth and maybe the speed increase on the backhaul is a little delayed.
  10. It's the band 25 and 26 sites that's killing their speed category. When on band 41 sprint is just as fast or faster than the other 3 carriers. Going from band 41 to band 25/26 the speeds drop tremendously.
  11. Hopefully Sprint add more band 41 sites. I don't think that they are unless a site starts to get overburdened with traffic. Between all the legacy Clearwire sites and 8t8r's I think Sprint pretty much has a lot of the high data traffic areas covered. Except River City Marketplace and the St Johns Town Center from my experience.
  12. I know how that is. I knew the site was there so every time I was in the area I was wanting to see if it was live.
  13. I got that same UARFCN from a Band 41 install near Edward Waters College on Kings Rd.
  14. Looking at the dollar amounts. Looks like Dish bought a significant amount of 600 spectrum also.
  15. What ever move Sprint makes from here on out will determine if they really want to compete. Or if they just want to be bought out.
  16. But T-Mobile will hype it up. To keep people talking about it.
  17. Not to mention they have more band 2 being occupied by HSPA+.
