4g seems to be testing all across buffalo which is amazing news!

Caught a momentary 4G signal on Transit, in front of the Clarence Walmart. This is at twelve thirty in the morning and it was gone almost as soon as I noticed it, but still a very good sign.

I was referring to the lte official launch. U can use the lte before it officially launches and just because it launches doesn't mean its complete so the launch means nothing

Ehh who cares when they officially launch it its just a ceremony

Today i was near airport at friends house i was chugging down data at average of 9.5 mbps but this was at like 10:30pm lol and later by 1am i was getting on average 11.5 mbps IMPRESSIVE! I had like full to -1 bar 

We have 4 accepted ones n the one I was reporting... was a non accepted tower... the problem is everyone lokking for 4g is goin to that tower n not there closest one

Btw 12:09 it up back down n up legit I'm now being kickrd on and off strong 4g why are they working at midnight

Just like that back to 3g in the same place so no 4g

Btw buffalo crew I'm in lancaster right now I'm mapping on sensorly in the middle of a bonfire and 4g lights ul new tower for sure! Btw the speed on this thing is pitiful though like 1mbps up and down at -100

Yep and those are my towers go getzville! Loving it! Except I keep losing my 3g signal like crazy

Call up customer service "ahh i see you are need of a new place to put your tower.... there is nothing on my roof".... ," ahh i think i need to get my supervisor..."

Im just wondering why it's showing 3g coverage in mexico city and some other latin american countries!?

Also they are converting a small number of old nextel towers... So those are new towers you could get service from!

Well that's good news then. I knew solar flares could cause issues I just wasn't sure how bad they'd be this time around. I love how knowledgeable everyone is on this site. Such a wonderful community we're building here

ehh worst that will happen is that the towers will get a sun tan  ... Even if it gets bad America might not be facing the sun at that time and it could knock out like Europes communications.... W.E.. lol

Im Guessing the 2 towers that got 4g required less work, might of been ground mount options.. i have no clue...? Even if they were full builds, the towers in dunkirk and fredonia (my friend has a cottage there and i go sometimes) are still on 1x not 3g cdma, just look on sprint data coverage maps... To me that means they will probaly need alot of work... Even if they started the work at that site there is a good chance its taking them longer!! Plus Batavia was one of the first places to see 3g updates could just be backhaul restraints stopping them from going 4g!

So how accurate is this October completion rumor going? I feel as though there's a lot of sites to be covered still.

And I believe if I'm not mistaken my market(Buffalo) is a Samsung market.

Yes even though those towers in cheektowaga n buffalo the 3g is actually faster than it used to be that's just bc all the people off the 3g n on 4g after those towers get both upgrades the 3g should be prettt good for the oldies

I don't understand the freak out over the LGOG2 not having SD card slot and removable battery. My LGOG doesn't either.

Ehh I'm a strong proponient of the removable and replacable battery! It just is choice and if something happens to the battert u don't have to buy a whole new phone

Is this why when 4G first gets rolled out it seems terribly slow? Especially in a large city like buffalo? Because there are hundreds if not thousands of people connecting to the only available tower and just completely congesting it?

Exactly in anywhere not rural where u have overlapping coverage if there attachrd to 4g they will stay ebwn if there is closer 3g towers...this is to my understanding

Just did alot of sensorly mapping and see some of my good work has shown up already enjoyed my 4g lte made me go to galleria didnt really go to the city tower except in passing on the 90 and beggining of the 290! But the galleria tower is pretty good both downloads and uploads kept hiting around 5mbs (above or below average at 5) Great upload but the download ive almost came to expect from WIMax.. at 9pm when realitivly low amount of people on the network... 5mbs is great but i would think this late it would of been better... Hopefully it doesnt get that bogged down at like 3pm. Although Its prob just because anyone looking for 4g would attach to that tower instead of the closer one!
