  1. Not on LTE usually. 3g and even when forced 1x. I have to usually text people to call me, which comes through fine. I haven't actually looked at the signal levels when this has happened but it has happen with up to 3 bars 3g. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  2. How do I resolve that? It only happens sometimes.. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  3. Does anyone else have trouble making calls? I'll dial the number or press the contact ant it will go to the phone app screen and say dialing. It will then immediately say call ended and sound the busy signal. Anyone? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  4. Does the family plan also have the $10 dollar premium data charge we all pay or does it do away with that? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  5. No more losing connection while its searching? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  8. If you read back a few pages you will see a couple of us have this issue. It was stated that it is most likely eCFSB ISSUE which you can read more about on the wall. Or, in this thread if you go back. I too lose signal very frequently when on the global and LTE settings in mobile network. If I switch to 3g the problem disappears. This only happens in certain areas of my city, but both of the places I am most of the time (work and home), but not at school. This leads my to believe that the towers near me haven't been updated to properly support trip band phones yet. A few have 3g only upgrades. If you have sponsorship look at the coverage nap to see towers in your area. What you can do until your towers are upgraded, is set your mobile network to 3g. This will insure you still get your texts and calls on time. If you can't deal with 3g only, then I suggest you go back to using your single band phone until sprint gets around to fixing the issue. Again, you can get more info on the issue by reading the article on the wall, or going through this thread, or the nexus 5 issues thread. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  9. I thought about maybe switching Sim cards to see if that would fix it but my sprint store is always a two hour wait. It doesn't happen everywhere as far as I can tell maybe it is just a legacy tower issue that will be resolved shortly. I thought I had a defective device. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  10. People in this thread have already said it is as simple of just swapping out Sims. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  11. doing this did increase the times between disconnects. It only does it on LTE and global. If I switch to 3g preferred I have 0 disconnects. Ufergus, can you confirm switching to 3g eliminate s the problem? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  12. I just cut off WiFi to see if it decreases the disconnects. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  13. The problem with that is that when the signal goes out no calls/texts come through and you can't make out going calls. It lasts about 15 to 20 seconds each time. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  14. I know, I'm asking about the future. My 1x connection will eventually turn into a LTE connection yes? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. http://m.imgur.com/2zeTMXg My phone seems to be having an issue in some places around Las Vegas. When the setting is global I lose my connection every few minutes and it says searching for service, even though I am in a strong 3g area. It does this both at work (spotty coverage) and at home (great coverage). It doesn't do this at school, or at my brothers house. If I set it to LTE it still does this. If I set it to 3g only the problem disappears. When on global, I can get and use LTE when I am near an LTE tower. If you look at the pic you will see the cycle of it losing service. Anyone who is smarter than me could you please explain why this is happening? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  16. At work my phone switches between 3g and 1x frequently. When all the towers in this area are completed with 800 LTE I should just have LTE correct? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  17. You still need msl Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. I too have this issue where the signal just disappears for a few minutes and it says searching for service. 14 hrs on battery 28% without signal. I was at home all day watching football so 28% without signal when I can see the tower from my window is too damn high. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  19. How do you tell the difference between 1x voice and 1x data? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  20. Vegas had wimax and I have no problem with LTE . I don't think they have started adding LTE to the clearwire towers here yet though. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  21. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2516913 [APP] Enable Battery Percentage (Android 4.4) That app allows you to enable battery percentage in your battery icon without root on stock 4.4 for anyone that is interested. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  22. I got my Sim yesterday and have no problem with LTE where there is LTE in Vegas, which is an al market if I'm not mistaken. One nice thing is that the signal bars don't lie and show 1x data. It is depressing because I am slipping into 1x data quite a bit at work, but at least I know. Come on network vision. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  23. It may not help but it won't hurt. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
