  1. That's the one I was referring too on an earlier post

I thought most of the conversations here were about in town/foothills towers...

I sometimes wonder if Sprint knows about south county... I don't live there, but I travel around the south county a lot.

    Lateck,

  2. Driving back from San Luis, I noticed that there is/has been work on the tower south of Gadsden (near County 19th & Hwy 95).

A cherry picker in the yard and guide ropes going up the tower.

Can/will south Yuma county see improved service????

Still only 2 sites LTE here....(?)

    Waiting.........

    Lateck,

  3. In central/southwest Arizona, Verizon has Sprint beat dead to right. But,,,, it's at a cost.

Now Sprint is slowly improving, so let's see in 6 months????? Most likely not.

I went with cost in up-grading with the hope Sprint will continue to improve.

    Lateck,

  4. Any one received the new up-date?

I have been surfing and I have read that it was announced yesterday.

(Android Central, Phone Reviews and a few more).

Said to improve the voice issue and a keyboard issue?.....

    Lateck,

  5. Have you updated your profile and PRL? I've gotten LTE all over that place

Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk

OK, I found my problem (at least with my phone :-) ).

The profile and PRL were good........

The problem was that I had set my phone to CDMA only..... I do not remember when...

Most likely as I have been playing with different settings to improve battery life.

So this morning I went back to the instructions. (Oh my!)

Ten minutes later LTE shows up.... Just like last week.

So, yes there IS LTE here in Yuma.

(A Great Place to Live) :-)

    Lateck,

  6. The LTE here in Yuma is appearing to be more frequent. I was told by a store rep that only two towers are complete so far, looking good here. Hopefully they can finish the rest up soon Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk

REALLY?????? I have not seen it in almost a week now. (I know I'm not near the two towers all the time, but the signal did reach 16th St. for a or two. And I have been on 32nd St. a few times with no joy :-( )

So, now I'm sadder because at this rate it maybe sooommmeee time.

    Lateck,

  7. Yay! No love for Yuma! Tell that lazy integration crew to get their butts to Tucson. ;)Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk

Only after they have all 20 towers up to LTE....:-)

(Yes, I know there are not that many towers here. But, I can dream.....)

So, only after all Sprint towers are on..... :-D

    Lateck,

  8. The concept of handwriting notes seems cool, but I wonder if it works as well as Samsung makes it out to be, then why doesn't anyone else attempt to release their own version of the S pen?

I'm old school and I used a PDA (Palm) a lot. Loved it, miss it.

So, to me, the Note 2~3 are more PDA's then phones. The N3 being closer to the PDAs I loved. So Samsung IS making this feature great.

    Lateck,

  9. You might have something wrong with your phone reception then. I've had good 4g coverage where available within the area of the two towers that were accepted.

3g on the other hand. Keeps disappearing for me. I monitor it through signal check and my 1x signal is around 84db my evdo signal is at 104- 111 dbs then drops.  When I connect I only get 10kbps down and 10 kbps down.  I just hope the tower that service my area gets 4g accepted soon.

You are correct. I only saw from my point of view....

As I have driven around, I have found 4G... But, like you, NOT in my areas of life......

And, yes, the reception on my new Note 3, sucks..... (But that's a different thread).

    Still hoping.

    Lateck,

  10. Follow up: I called Sprint about my call quality and WiFi issues.

The Rep admitted they know about the call quality and are working on that.

He then said I need to have my WiFi antenna checked at a Sprint store.....And I should do it soon as I am still in my 14 day return window....??

I maybe should have waited, but I love the N3.... Will have to weather the issues and hope they are only software problems that can be fixed.

    Lateck,

  11. I wonder since they're working on LTE in Yuma right now, are any working on it in tucson or are those guys gonna come when they're done?Sent from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2

I wold be hoping they are working on Tucson AND the I-8/10 corridor as I type :-)

    Why wait!

    Lateck,

  12. You're close enough to the Pacific tower that got accepted, so you would be able to connect that close

Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4

Yes, I was connected but the four speedtests I ran via Sonsorly, that was the only one that connected. Now in all fairness to the network, the test was done with my Note 3, which I have been having connection issues..... (Seams the Sprint Samsung Note 3 has a possible firmware issue???????)

I did pull up the internet in the area, better then on 3G, but it dropped in and out.

By the way, no 4G this morning in this area (by the AEA on 1st Ave).
