How far south? On Rt 1?
-
I'll have to drive around and see what I can find.

That was from the race earlier this year. I didn't think they would bring in the Nascow until probably Tuesday or Wednesday for the race.

Again explain to me, in lay terms, why the dual-band I-Phone 5s wouldn't be advantageous for pulling data on 800mHz.
As I said Sprint has told us we have 60 days No Risk cancellation here in Chicago
Will the Galaxy 4S Mini be here within that time frame ( I have 55 days remaining).
Is the HTC One Mini headed Sprint's way in Tri-Band, or the Moto X?
(FYI again the 3G signal is so weak inside my house this morning that the Moto X can't sync my Yahoo Email.)
The iPhone would be able to pull 800 MHz LTE once it is available. It won't be able to pull the 2500/2600MHz LTE though, and from information that is out there we know Chicago will probably have widespread 2500/2600 LTE first (and soon). I think that is why people are suggesting a tri-band phone.
I don't think the One- Mini or Moto X will be triband, but I maybe wrong. I would look in smart phone section and read there.

I never got an Airave. I live next to a Sprint site. Not needed.

Just dismantle it and throw it in the moving truck along with the rest of your stuff!

There is also a Protection Site in Fairbanks. Put 800MHz CDMA and LTE on that puppy and it would provide city wide coverage. But not much else without additional sites.
The existing Anchorage Expedience network, especially with 800, would provide good Sprint coverage if converted to Network Vision. The Juneau protection sites would provide enough Juneau/Douglas area coverage. Then they can cherry pick new sites in other towns as needed.

Sounds like a plan.

I'm curious about the old Nextel sites in Alaska as Nextel (and later Sprint) never advertised any iDEN coverage in Alaska to the best of my recollection. However, converting the Clearwire pre-WiMAX sites probably could give them decent coverage in Anchorage and fair coverage in Juneau.
I just know what I've seen on the premier map. There where only a couple and it wouldn't suprise me if they where collacted with some of the clear sites.
Coverage in Anchorage and Juneau would potentially provide service to most of the tourist from the lower 48 with CDMA phones.

Lets ask Russia if it will take back Alaska.
No way! For all the gold, oil, salmon, and king crabs there are it was a steal at only 7.2 million 1867 dollars.

I don't think that is clear, actually. There are a couple discrepancies in those maps Sprint posted. If you read through that thread past the post Rawvega linked to, you'll also get to my post explaining why the ACS & DigiTel networks (and thus most of Alaska's CDMA coverage) will be disappearing soon. I have my fingers crossed that Sprint or at least VZW can build out there before that happens.
Maybe they'll at least convert some of the old Nextel sites or Wimax protection sites to full sites. That could at least provide coverage in Anchorage and Juneau.

Best of luck to you! I honestly didn't expect to read anything like this today (or any day). Given your two choices, I'd have to go with Big Red. Hopefully Mr Hesse and Mr Son personally make sure a full site or two appears at least in Rapid City (If not a whole string along I-90).

Curious what tower it is ?
I made a guess in the sponsors thread. As long as they are getting them done, I can't complain waiting another day or two to find out.

Acceptances are only updated through Tuesday. Maybe it'll show up when Wednesday or Thursday is updated...

the naamans road one looks like its on the PA side.. might not but looks like it could be
Yeah I think eveything on Naamans Rd is from PA.

Streak on 95 was me map kirkwood highway signal.
I don't think you would get a good signal on 95 from the Kiirkwood Hwy site, but I suppose we will know soon enough.
-
Another new streak along I-95 on Sensorly! Looks like we may be at 8 accepted sites in Delaware.
-
I can't find the picture at the moment, but I am sure I saw markings on a panel or RRU that clearly stated 806-869 MHz.

Lucky #7 appears to be mapped on Sensorly. A nice long line down I-495!

I thought the feds put the brakes on the Alltel purchase?
-
No, he lives in Florida, they wouldn't even notice the difference.
I don't expect the temperature to change. I expect the party goers themselves might "personally experience" the effects of the aerosols....
-
I am surprised it took as long as it did for the comments to start bashing Sprint.....
-
Did you run a speed test? Or take any screen shots?
-
Lol duncan road iss 2 water towers only 40 feet high to many trees. winter speed and coverage go up. Mapped some does not go far.
It probably is designed to fill that depression in. The other towers in the area probably shoot right over it.

This clown gives me nightmares. He looks like John Legere.

Would you have prefered a clown that looks like Charlie Ergen?

I still think at some point Sprint acquires USCC,
