  1. I noticed that I had 4G around 2:50PM and it lasted for roughly 40 minutes before going back to 3G. I was in a building on O street between 11th and 12th in downtown Sacramento.
  2. I don't miss school work but I do miss Sac State. Fun times! If I remember correctly the Union building was thick concrete interleaved with rebar. Not very nice for data signals.
  3. Very nice! I went to dinner at Tahoe Joe's the other week and made sure to announce to my family members that I had 4G while we were driving around on roseville parkway. They all have ATT so they weren't impressed. lol
  4. Stockton is pretty bad. No offense to anyone living there. You have a much higher chance of experiencing a crime there compared to other cities. It's 10th nationwide for violent crime according to the 2012 info released by the FBI. 10. Stockton, California – 1,408 violent crimes per 100,000 people I would say that's a far greater chance of something happening than pretty much anywhere. In regard to theft, Stockton ranks very high as well. http://www.examiner.com/article/fbi-releases-top-25-most-dangerous-cities-america-list-for-2012
  5. Too bad that I just put in my 30 day notice at my place in Folsom. I'm probably headed to Fair Oaks or Orangevale, hopefully it pops up out there soon.
  6. I'm having a very difficult time getting service today in downtown (edit: downtown Sacramento that is). Text messages often won't send and 3G craps out often. If I hold my phone above my head then it seems to work better. I am in a concrete building and I know that I have interference but it's never really stopped my service in the past beside maybe slowing it down. Is there a chance that they are working on the R and 15 tower already? Maybe my phone is trying to reach a tower that is further away?
  7.   I hope so! Very exciting if it is! I am so ready to be able to consistently stream my Spotify radio stations in the mornings on the way to work. That's pretty much all I even care about. The other day I was getting about 15k down most of the way home (from downtown to Folsom). Streaming sucked so I speed tested it. Yes I know I shouldn't do that while driving my traffic was slow and heavy.
  8. Hmm, I would think that I would have picked up that signal from 50 when I pass by each morning if that tower has LTE, right? I'll have to run sensorly more often but even the other day I had it mapping as I passed Zin and Sunrise and I didn't see any LTE.
  9. Wow that's very nice. I remember flipping out getting 31 megs down last year in Fairfield when coming back to Sac from the bay.
  10. I was in the ghetto on Saturday night at my friend's house off of Freeport by the Executive Airport. I picked up 4G at the CVS on Freeport and Florin.
  11. It looks like state parking to me but I know some of the state parking structures allow people to park for a fee. My parking structure down the street on 13 & P allows non state employees to park for a fee and also directs them to park on the top level. I ran sensorly at burgers and brews a few weeks back and didn't get anything but I'm still not sure where exactly the tower is at except that it's near that intersection.
  12. Just saw your previous post on the last page in regard to it only lasting a minute. Sprint service is so abysmal right now that my buddy at work here and his entire family jumped ship to AT&T. He was excited for Sprint LTE but he just couldn't stand it anymore after all this time I guess.
  13.     Prob from West Sac right? I'm sitting directly across from the capitol right now and I don't see any LTE. In fact, my service is almost non existent right now. 3G signal is the worst it has ever been and my normal phone service is highly degraded. Hopefully that's a sign that they are building but it's sorta been like this for a few weeks for me now. What do you think?
  14. Service is terrible the past two days near Bannister and Fair Oaks (close to Sunrise). Phone service keeps dropping or going to local roam. Not sure how data was since I was using my Mother's WiFi at her house while visiting. Any work going on around there?
  15.     The Caltrans building by the Capitol is where we saw the 4G this morning.
  16. I didn't get anything on Sensorly at R & 15th. I kinda doubt that it was coming from West Sac because none of us here have noticed it before but maybe they brought up a new tower in West Sac today that is close enough to blip into downtown sometimes? I am really hoping that they are close to turning up 4G in Midtown, at least it would explain why the service has been unacceptably poor and non existent at times out here over the past week.
  17. So once I get to Burgers and Brews (which is basically right there at R & 15), you want me to do a PRL update, switch to airplane mode, then take it off airplane mode, and then quickly run Sensorly "Trip Map?"
  18. Nevermind, I found Sensorly and downloaded it. Is "Map Trip" what I want to use when I'm out there?
  19. I sit on the N street side of my building facing the Capitol building. I haven't seen 4G yet but I am unable to check often since I have work projects going on.
