  1.

I checked the following places, and they were all Cellcom. If you want me to check a different place, let me know.

    • Wausaukee
    • Houghton
    • Ironwood
    • Eagle River

I guess the cellcom coverage map just confuses me, I'm guessing it's because they share Verizon's lte network? I just didn't know cellcom was going to end up as Roaming+. Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining, a little extra coverage here does wonders. Haha

  2. Okay I know not many people like big phones... But I love the 6" form factor, I just love the screen size. I have yearly upgrades and actually thinking about not upgrading because everything is smaller, and I don't want my upgrade to feel like a downgrade, so I'm just wondering how many out there feel the same, and if you could upgrade now, would you upgrade to any phones Sprint offers at this point?

  3. In my experience the roaming experience across multiple devices has been terrible. data at 1x speeds. Unable to make calls or dropped calls.  I found roaming to be rather pointless.

That's crazy because i couldn't have Sprint if I didn't have roaming... Just for those days that i do actually leave town. But really the only two I roam on around here is us cellular and cellcom. What I need roaming for is phone calls if anything were to happen. I guess it's just peace of mind to know I will always at least be able to make calls. I actually used to work out of town, and roamed 10 hours a day 5 days a week and I could always use voice and text, data was hit or miss but that's not what I need roaming for, just my opinion.

  4. Likely a mistake. They were using Sensorly for testing, which isn't the best speed testing app in the world. Additionally, if you look at the speeds in many of the cities, they are realistic numbers and not flukes at all.

The comment was mostly ment as a joke. I was just pointing out the mistakes. I've noticed there are mistakes in 2 cites which throws it all off. New Orleans and Portland. Are the two cities with mistakes I took the time to search through them.

  5. Just kinda curious if this is just my device or if it's my tower at work. (I guess I haven't tested at home because I have full bars lte there so I never have issues) at work 95% of the time I have 3g its great works good pretty zippy. No complaints there, but I'm having an issue with is my phone will latch to weak b26 and have no data and this happens very often now compared to before. I don't know if 5.1.1 caused the issue or not but I swear I have to toggle airplane mode every couple minutes on lunch to get data back. And it's not like b26 is unuseable at this spot because after I toggle airplane mode I'll have lte and it works fine. It's like my phone doesn't like switching from 3g to b26. Because every time (at least in this location) when it first switches there is no data until you toggle airplane mode.

Edit: and also does the same switching from b26 to 3g get the explanation point and no data.

  6. Find an app in the play store called "Refresh Customization." I had that problem on my S4T last summer. Once I ran the app (both steps) I had roaming back. Just one note, it will reset your home screens when you run it but it won't delete anything. You just have to set up all your apps and widgets again once you're done.

Okay I will try this Thx!

  7. Update the prl. (Preferred roaming list)

Another thing to try is to shut off roaming, restart the phone, toggle roaming back on, and restart the phone again.

I've done all these things about a million times. Since we've noticed the problem. I guess I'll just have to give sprint a call today haha. They probably will be just baffled about the issue and I'll have to go to the store. I can already see it happening.

  8. Hey I'm just wondering if anyone else is having this problem. We got a replacement for my boyfriends s4t for assurance about 2 months ago. Well a couple of times we have noticed his phone will have no service at all while mine is just fine. Good signal and everything, well this weekend we went to a place where we roam well we finally noticed the problem his phone WILL NOT roam at all. With all the settings for roaming being right. So once it hits a poor sprint spot it will end up with no service and get stuck like that until we almost right next to a sprint tower. I'm just wondering if anyone has run into this problem before I call sprint about it.

  9. Id rather sprint ditch the 1/3 2/3 crap and just make regular corporate store.

As long as the 1/3 is a corporate store I could care less. I've been in Corp stores and affiliate and the difference is huge. (Of course there are good affiliate stores and bad Corp ones) but from what I have experienced customer service is so much better and faster at Corp stores.

  10. Absolutely is recommend it. It's a great phone and the Sprint issues will get fixed soon. Honestly, if you have Wi-Fi most places that you go, just force the phone to 3G and you'll never encounter these issues with calls and texts. It's only a problem when connected to LTE.

Well that works for me especially since 3g around here is always above 1mb anyways but thanks. this is grea. And I'm really excited to upgrade my one max is having troubles charging. Which I know Sprint would fix but why take 2 trips when I have an upgrade March 1st haha.but thanks for the info :) one more does 1x actually show on this nexus? I know the nexus 5 on Sprint doesn't that's not make it or break it but that's really the only reason have have signal check. Haha

  11. And when there's a delay, there's a greater than 75% chance that your recipient is going to get between 2 and 8 copies if your text. :/

Would u still recommend the nexus 6? I know I have 14 days to return if the issue is to much for m. But I just want to know what I'm getting myself into.

  12. I live in an Ericsson market and I have the same issues. This is a Nexus 6 issue, not a Sprint issue.

Are they able to be dealt with til a fix comes out? I've had my eye on this thing since it launched but I don't wanna lose my phone as a phone. Haha

  13. So is everyone in Samsung markets having sms and missed calls? I really want this to be my next phone and I can upgrade March 1st but I really don't want to upgrade to a phone that's doesn't work as a phone. But I feel like I've already fallen in love with it. So it may not matter and I may just suck it up and get it anyway haha.

  14. Just curious if anyone is having WiFi call in issues a lady at work that had poor service at home praised WiFi calling in the beginning now since the update she says WiFi calling disconnects all the time and her calls are really crappy over sprint so just curious is anyone else experiencing these issues?

Edit: she has the h/k edition if that even matters.
