  1. I mapped ALOT of data in 37091 today.... I think I am the only one here who has a 4G LTE Sprint phone. Always get 25-30mbps. it must post to the maps shortly after you map it. I looked in the options, and you can force send the data waiting to be uploading if you're going to stop using the phone.
  2. Went from Lewisburg, TN to Franklin, TN today . . 4G LTE in Columbia ..On Bear Creek Pike, was full bars, speed about 13mbps....., going up I65 into Spring Hill...... around 9mbps off Main St @ Target. Going into Franklin.....Only 3G around Mallory Lane............. Picked up a 2 bar 4G LTE signal around BestBuy around Moores Lane.... Speed test 1.6mbps (ummm, isn't that a 3G speed)?? Maybe they aren't finished upgrading here... Back home in Lewisburg, back to around 25mbps. My data usage is only being calculated when on 3G... When i'm on 4GLTE, its appears to not be metered. I have used almost 1GB in 6 days (mostly testing speeds). My usage online says i've used 11.5MB.... Haven't really figured out how to PLOT out 4G on Sensorly....
  3. I did an internet search for this, but irrevalent hits. When my Sprint LTE phone connects via 4G LTE, my IP address belongs to the DOD Information Center. I had this happen on a mi-fi from sprint as well. Did the Department of Defense buy some block of ip addresses from SPRINT? WEIRD to say the least. General IP Information IP: 26.247.81.226 Decimal: 452415970 Hostname: 26.247.81.226 ISP: DoD Network Information Center Organization: DoD Network Information Center Services: None detected Type: Corporate Assignment: Static IP Blacklist: Geolocation Information Country: United States State/Region: Ohio City: Columbus Latitude: 39.9612 (39° 57′ 40.32″ N) Longitude: -82.9988 (82° 59′ 55.68″ W) Area Code: 614 Postal Code: 43218
  4. Recent speeds. You can tell when its on 4G LTE and when its on 3G.
  5. Here are some recent screen shots of LTE and 3G speed tests. You can definately tell when it reverts back to 3G. Wonder how long these insane 4G LTE speeds will last?
  6. I got 25-30mpbs on an LTE tower in Middle Tennessee today.....
  7. this appears to be a good working site. I got 25-30mbps down.....Obviously, this is an unloaded tower.
  8. Ok, here are some speedtests and the Engineering Screen. I will have to admit, Sprint LTE is blistering fast here. Of course, no one here probably has purchased a sprint lte phone, since this is a somewhat rural town. 25-30 mbps off a phone and a cell tower is insane!! I posted the engineering shots too. looks like a good signal from what I've read...Anyone else agree/disagree. LTE cuts about 5 miles away from the tower though...... What's up with the weird IP address? DOD Information Center???????
  9. Sprint sometimes calls Middle TN the "NASHVILLE MARKET". Sprint said today they had finished "Network Vision" in Lewisburg, Shelbyville, and Columbia. With that said, LTE only reaches about 3-4 miles away from the tower. (only 1 tower upgraded in each city)
  10. As I find LTE coverage in Middle TN, I would like to add it to sensorly. How does that work? download an app? How to you "add coverage" to the map when you discover it? Thanks!
  11. You can't install apps to the SD card, that is one of the complaints of this phone.
  12. I got one of these phones coming....We will see how it performs.
  13. AJ, thanks for the explanation. It does appear that the folks at SPRINT themselves are a little behind in knowing what coverage is where.... i look forward to participating in the forums and learning more. We do have LTE coverage here, so I look forward to testing it out when I get my Samsung Victory. Greg
  14. YET, more southern middle tennessee, such as lewisburg, columbia, and shelbyville are flooded with LTE coverage....and sprint's coverage map is only about 7-8 days old. so that makes no sense.
  15. That's strange, the SPRINT coverage maps show NO LTE coverage, just WIMAX (4G). Is it possible people are reporting WIMAX 4G coverage and not LTE?
  16. Where are you guys showing Sprint 4G LTE coverage in NASHVILLE? Are you sure you aren't misintrepreting that as WIMAX? I don't see any 4g LTE coverage anywhere on the maps anywhere in the Nashville METRO area.... Columbia, Lewisburg, and Shelbyville are the only areas that show Sprint4GLTE coverage so far. i'm getting a Samsumg Victory in a few days, so I will be able to report on the coverage here. but.. I don't think Nashville has it yet.....
  17. Hello! Looks like 3 small towns in Middle Tennessee have gotten Sprint 4G LTE before the metro area of Nashville and surrounding cities. Lewisburg, Columbia, and Shelbyville appear to have Sprint 4G LTE. What's weird is that Franklin, Antioch, Murfreesboro, Smyrna, and Nashville appear to be stuck on 4G WIMAX now, and weren't upgraded to LTE. I'm thinking of getting the Samsung Victory. anyone else in the surrounding or listed cities? Thanks, greg
