  1. I have gotten 4G in most of Route 22 Monroeville 15146, Route 22 in Wilkins twp 15235, and Frankstown Road Penn Hills 15235. Picked up the signal from my galaxy tab 2.
  2. With my phone it occasionally will fluctuate for no apparent reason. It usually happens when taking out of the holster or pocket after getting out of car after driving around. My guess is the radio is resetting the 1x after finding a much stronger data signal for some reason?
  3. Why do they not release real time progress reports on NV for every town and a timetable? What is the reason for their secrecy, are they afraid we will storm the site being worked on and protest?
  4. The prl doesn't have anything to do with that, but maybe updating the data profile would help that?
  5. I got a reply from social-care today, are they right? "Thanks for reaching out to us. We apologize for the delayed response, but to answer your question, if you perform a factory reset on your Airave, yes it will delete that setting, but if you perform a soft reset (meaning plugging the Airave out for one minute) it will not erase that setting. Please let us know if this answers your question? xxxxxxxxxx Sprint Social Media Care"
  6. How often do you guys check for updates(data profile, prl, firmware)? It seems I have the urge to do so every day but I am not sure if it is necessary. Anyone else have updating compulsions?
  7. Guess that's what happens when other carriers rushed their LTE.
  8. Has anyone else had their voicemail system upgraded? Does anyone know what they did upgrade?
  9. So... what I can see is that this will not affect subscribership more to Sprint? Yes, I know that Sprint probably does it too(All communications are subject to recall anytime anywhere after 2001 and most people don't know that) but it is not in the news and people might just get into Sprint contracts before Sprint hits news. There has to be some people that rage and switch carriers right?
  10. Yes, Sprint gets requests but they are specific and not a blanket all data for all users.(Example would be a lost person where police ask for location for that specific person.) Also, I think only specific requests by POLICE(sworn officers) should be honored.
  11. Do you guys think that sprint will get more customers due to the Verizon issue? Good, Bad?
  12. Yes, I got that too in 15235.
  13. Another question. I have the long range setting on my account. Does resetting the device erase that data, or does it retrieve it from the billing account?
  14. So in short answer my area is being worked on, interesting. I hope it's NV upgrades!
  15. Yes, but that never happened before and I reset it about 20 times this year. You did say sometimes? As if every so often when I reset it it will use a different set of channels but not always?
  16. Hello, just letting you guys know that I did my reset for my airave today and it is using a different set of channels for zip 15235 in Pittsburgh, PA. Before, it used 75 and 225, and after the reset it now uses 100 and 150. This may be a response to the users who have had issues with the NV upgrade locally affecting the airave. Reset yours today and find out!
  17. Just use the sprint online chat in the upper right corner of the website with the small thought bubble icon, or post in the community network area as a question and the socialcare will assist you.
