  1. That is great to hear! Thank you for the response. In Thornton/Northglenn typically see anywhere on the low side at 1mpbs up to 20Mpbs. On average during peak, I will see 1Mpbs to 8Mpbs. I believe there is only 2-3 Towers in the Thornton area with LTE right now. I have been mapping the area using Root Metrics, since that is the only ability of mapping I have.
  2. What kinda of speeds did you get out there! Any speed test screen shots? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Yea, the app is strange. I don't even get push alerts from this forum using the app.
  4. We saw a new LTE update. I am thinking the popular notion here, that the sites around Denver and the Metro area will be going live in clusters, within the next few months. I think the weather has factored in, and slowes down deployment.
  5. “@TotesMcGotes: LOL play of the game: https://t.co/qLlU3AUEZR #SDvsDEN”. That is awesome!

  6. Yea I am annoyed too at the fact iPhone users cannot map. Root metrics is able to log the speed and signal strength from iPhone users. Sensorly must require an additional API that Apple has not opened to the developers. Don't get me wrong , I enjoy the iphone, but I really wish they would release and open more APIs to the developers. Swype for instance would be great too. In the mean time , we have hope the android guys are out as often as they can to map the areas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Roflmao!! Thanks for the catch. Just went back and edited the post. Need more sleep or stronger coffee! Lmao, that was great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Just went to a T-Mobile store (Thornton) and did a speed test on a tmobile iPhone 5s , and got between 4 GB and 10 Mbps. down here in the north metro area of Thornton. I was getting an average of 5 to 6 Mbps on the only two towers of LTE in the area from Sprint on my 5s . While T-Mobile may claim they have the fastest speeds, and in some areas they might, that is not the case for all areas. I can only imagine what it would be like in rural areas. While location is everything, and results may vary, my location was not very impressive, I will stick with sprint and wait it out. From what I have seen with LTE in my area from Sprint, not too bad on par with T-Mobile's extensive buildout of LTE. The saying goes, the grass is not always greener on the other side, and today just proved it for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edit: replaced GB with Mbps because obviously I did not get enough sleep last night! Lmao!
  9. In the long run, the @sprint network will be faster and more reliable than @TMobile. It was tempting but to leave but it's worth the wait.

  10. Now that would be interesting. Have a Television, wireless, and Wireless internet ( Like the trials in Texas) under one company.
  11. Yea, this is really dependent on location. In the locations I am, Sprint has always been fantastic. Especially when I drive up into the mountains in Colorado for hiking. Always had better coverage than T-Mobile. The only complaint as of the last 3 -4 years. Speed. That is being fixed, so.. Needless to say, I am a happy camper.
  12. Luis, I absolutely agree with you on that. Location location location! One size does not fit all, if it works in the places that matter the most you, Kudos man! Sprint works everywhere I need it too, with fantastic coverage, I sit at work with full bars, as everyone else, with VZ, TMO, and ATT sit on 2G with 1 or 2 bars. I know that if I switched back to T-Mobile, I would be sitting at work, with my phone on edge, even though if I were to walk out of the building, I would probably see 4G. Everywhere else, T-Mobile was decent, but overall the places I go, I see better coverage and building penetration by Sprint.
  13. Found some more LTE at I-25 and Hwy 52. Sometimes and it's rare I can pick up on bar of LTE in this location. This morning I actually saw 3 bars at one point. Signal was pretty decent. Wonder if it's a new tower upgrade in the area. Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk
  14. Okay, but FDD would be more ideal than? If sprint were to snag some 600 Mhz for FDD, this would make Sprint a Quad band LTE network?
  15. Ah okay. Makes sense. I understand now. Thank you! Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk
  16. AJ Thank you for the clarification! So by adding another 5x5 carrier.. What does this mean? Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk
  17. What do you mean by another carrier? Do you mean a totally different company than sprint?
  18. I can somewhat vouch for this. 3 years ago, I had T-Mobile. I had no issues, until I went inside a building, especially at work. While there as no 4G at the time, I sat at my office, while my Mytouch 3G sat on Edge. Battery life? Not pleasent when your phone is trying to hold a decent signal throughout the day, and can only get edge. I would walk outside, and Bam! 3G. I can only assume, this would be the same, if I had a 4G Device from T-Mobile. John Legere is hyping up T-Mobile, but ... maybe in the end it's only because the company would be acquired at a higher price because they have attracted a few new subs?
  19. I can't figure out where the heck that tower is at 104th and Federal, even after looking at the map. Doesn't look like there are panels on the building nearby where the pin drop is located.
  20. I think what t-mobile is doing very well right now, is marketing. Now, how real world results are with T-Mobile? I don't know, but I bet when they start pickin up more customers, the network we become more congested, and start seeing the issues Verizon is having. Sprint Spark sounds like a good solution to that problem to me.
  21. Right, and I agree with that. I am happy if I can at least get 2Mbps down. The more the better, but honestly i agree. What the hell am i going to do with 137Mpbs on a phone? Now if I am deploying a hotspot for my laptop, that is great, but honestly 10 - 25 would be just fine.
  22. So Sprint does not have the spectrum to launch 10X10 on the 1900 Band 25 ? What about Band 26 800 ?
