Just a short follow up. I got 7 to load on the pad. It's buggy, but it's basically the as on the 4s. I do like the HDR enabled now on the iPad.

My i5 won't update at all. I did the whole ##update# thing and it says service update failed.......
On a side note my home tower that is now marked as 3G complete is now at 0.00 download and .09 upload with full bars for voice. (No roam) so I am hoping this is a good thing. Have seen trucks out there the past 2 days. Maybe they are testing. Still no sign of digging yet tho. The flags marking buried cables are still out there.

Any luck on downgrading back to 6.1.2 or lower for jailbreak? Or the furthest you could go back down was .1.4? I am hesitant to give my jailbreak on my i5. Still playing with it on the 4s. Worried if I go up to ios7 I won't be able to get back to .1.2

I didn't try to go back to 6.1.2, but the website I downloaded 6.1.4 from said you aren't able to because Apple is only allowing 6.1.4 (probably due to the jailbreak). Unrelated to the beta iOS7 situation, a month or so ago I inadvertently upgraded from my JB to 6.1.3 and tried to go back but was not successful. Only go up if you're willing to part ways with your JB.
I figured that! I will stick with 7 on my 4s and just wait for gold master, and the jailbreak I assume shortly to follow.

For what it's worth I was able to downgrade back to 6.1.4 relatively easily. The battery drain on iOS7 was killing me, by noon my phone was nearly dead with moderate to low use. iOS7 is fun to play with (and i will continue to upgrade to future beta versions), but I can't be so tethered to a charging cord at work.

So I just got Sprint service here in Columbia SC. By looking on the coverage map on sprints website I should have outstanding service where I live but unfortunately I do not. I cannot even complete a phone call. I bought the Signal check Pro app and noticed that almost immediately after leaving my neighborhood I switch to another tower and my service goes back to what I would consider acceptable. Then when I pull in I switch back to the other tower it goes to crap again. Knowing the location of the tower that I am currently on is there anyway to check that particular site and be able to tell if there is a problem that may be resolved in the future? I am within the 14 day return period but if I know the tower is being worked on or is just temporarily jacked up, I will rest a little easier about my decision. Thanks!

Keep up with the Betas tho. When they get a couple out they will start deactivating the old ones! I bricked an iPad one time by not staying on the latest beta.

I haven't seen a single screenshot or even apple showing us anything for the iPad yet. I'm waiting for that as well! That's the one I really wanna play with. If the beta messes up my iPad it wouldn't hurt as bad as my i5. Like I said I put it on my 4s, but the iPad and i5 is where I wanna really feel it out. I will probably wait for at least beta 3 before I touch my i5. If I can find a screenshot for iPad I will share it here. Macinjosh is probably the one to ask. If anyone has a shot of it, he might.

Apple has a screenshot posted on their website. Go to http://www.apple.com/ios/ios7/features/ and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Not much but gives an idea of what the iPad will look like with iOS 7.

Good find. I see them at the bottom. They are really small but I'm sure in the next few days, or closer to the seeding of the iPad beta, they will start popping up.

I'm glad it's just Beta 1 and certain elements are likely going to be changed. The icons should look a little more sophisticated.
IMO....I don't see the icons changing much. In the keynote and on their site, they were pushing the icon changes as one of their key points. It's all part if ivey's "new look and feel". They may but probably not much.
I too am glad this is a beta, because I dropped it on my old 4s and man o' man the battery drain is fierce! The jump from iOS 5 to 6 was bad enough, but this is harsh! They gotta work this out for sure!
I LOVE the control settings page tho! It's nice to finally have toggles!
