  2. Hopefully you're right! On another not, I'm glad we're not in a Lucent market......been to Vegas and Phoenix several times in the past 2 months and will tell you.....the service sucks eggs down there. Very bad voice service almost throughout the entire valley in PHX. When you are on LTE it's fortunate to see over 1 mb. Same in both markets on multiple occasions. Hope it was just one tower or something to the effect but it's all over town pretty much. Hope they get 800 voice rolled out quickly and/or whatever else will correct that because damn.....it was rough taking/making calls down there.
  3. Friday night when I was coming home I got LTE on Pena. Maybe just started on Saturday?
  4. I was traveling last week on Thursday and Friday but was able to get LTE on parts of Pena. At parking garage and inside terminal it was 3g and garbage as usual but not quite 1x garbage.
  5. The consensus around here from the experts seems to be that yes it CAN, but that doesn't mean that it WILL. My understanding is that when a site is accepted and when the site has the fiber backhaul available to support LTE are two very different things. So if the backhaul is there and all equipment is installed etc, the site can be brought up with LTE at acceptance.
  6. I asked the same thing a couple of days ago. Robert confirmed that all tri band phones need CSFB to operate on LTE. Edit: I'm too slow. Robert beat me to it lol.
  7. Ah gotcha. I read your blog entry on this topic and was wondering is that a problem on all triband phones or just the g2 and n5
  8. I'm with ya. I'm gonna stick it out too. I was doing some tower exploring earlier today at dry creek and 25 where the recent green pin showed up on the map. Had my sister's note 3 and the Nexus 5 that I am testing with. Couldn't get the N5 to ever connect to LTE but the Note 3 did. It was pulling around 5mbps. Any thoughts why the N5 wouldn't connect to LTE? I have all three bands enabled on this phone if that makes a difference.
  9. "@PaulPabst: Gundy Gold. Go in about 20 seconds: http://t.co/j8LelwKaJe" @levans22222 lololololol. Must. Watch. Now!

  10. And while we're at it the lat and long might be off just a bit, I didn't have the GPS turned on, just to be completely transparent, lol.
  11. Here is the screen shot of the test results with lat/lon for those that are interested. I was parked between 1/8th and 1/4 of a mile from the tower.
  12. Merlin and those in the know, correct me if I am wrong please but it looks like we had come cluster acceptance activity over the past few days in the south metro area. I'm seeing 3G only on the maps right now from the looks of it but I did go down Santa Fe this morning and tested on the sedalia tower. Had -57 dBm and was getting close to 3MB down. Probably not much traffic on that tower given it's location and time of day (or maybe there is, just guessing here) so I'm assuming it could be partially because of NV go live and partially because of capacity? I drive through that area frequently and can't ever recall getting more than 0.25mb down so this was certainly a maked improvement.
  13. I've been with Sprint for 11 years. Patience is a strength of mine. Lol. Thank you for all of your insight here it's truly appreciated. Hoping we're days or weeks away now.
  14. Another strong hit at Park Meadows and Lincoln just north of the Sky Ridge entrance. Sensorly is all kinds of fun this past week or so.
  15. The T-Mobile headline is intriguing. I'll be watching with great interest as well!
  16. I would love nothing more than to jump into this conversation with my opinion about how the poor training or communications from sprint is a systemic leadership issue but that would require a ton more effort than I am willing to put forth at this very moment. That and, this is a forum for us to share information about the LTE rollout, not bash sprint. I'm as frustrated as anybody but I'll digress for now. What I do have effort for is, has anybody been watching sensorly this week? I posted a question over the weekend in this tread regarding a new LTE hit showing up south of Park Meadows mall on C-470 between I-25 and Yosemite. I looked again today and now there are LTE hits reporting along Santa Fe in the south part of town starting from C-470 and stretching up to the Littleton Blvd intersection. They seem to be faint, but not as terribly so. Does anybody have insight as to what this is being caused by?
  17. RT @BFeldmanCBS: Mack Brown to 247: "I'm in FL recruiting. If I had decided to step down I sure wouldn't be killing myself down here." Said…

  18. Sensorly is showing somebody mapped LTE by Park Meadows Mall. Between the Costco/Best Buy and 470 westbound. Any thoughts? Not the old hit from the call center by Centennial airport. This one is new, first time I've seen it on the sensorly map and I check that bad boy just about 3 times a day.
  19. I believe the consensus is that it's a bit unlikely at this point for a number of reasons. While theoretically possible there are some other hurdles in the way right now that we've been discussing here over the past 3-4 pages of this thread.
  20. I was in Vegas last week, the LTE speeds I got just about all over town were as slow as 3G here in Denver. 200k ish. Indy back in August was around 10M and Ardmore Oklahoma just up I-35 from Dallas was about 12-15. It's pretty hit and miss, in some cities I've never had any issues and in others I've had nothing but problems. At first I thought it was just a small area of the city that I happened to be in but I end up making many visits around town when I'm out for work so.....yeah. Some factors at play for sure but indeed it's frustrating. Good friend of mine here in Highlands Ranch off of 470 and Lucent has Verizon and inside the office on LTE is nearly always close to 18mbps.......frustrating yes but better things to come for us from the sounds of it!
  21. Fully agree. Just do it, won't regret it. Took me too long to get on board and I'm happy I finally did.
