  1. I've seen people get higher than 37.5 on band 25 back when band 41 was wimax. But of course that was just speedtest reporting incorrectly. So there's that. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  2. (As previously posted) I found B26 in Troy and Moscow Mills. A log has been sent to lilg740 containing the IDs so he can update the map.
  3. I have not seen any b25 at all. I've been through downtown too and didn't see any either. But that may have been because I was driving and moving too fast for it to stay in range long enough to connect. Edit: my apologies, I read that as b41. I wasn't paying enough attention. I have gotten b25 out here before, but it was before the site logger was a feature in signal check. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  4. Absolutely. I will try to donate soon, but I've been super busy lately and it hasn't been at the top of my to do list. That way I can hopefully be more help. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  5. Just got b26 again, but this time in Troy, MO. Even at - 110 to - 120 dB I got 6.35 down and 1.22 up. I an beyond impressed with this. I recently lost my sponsorship status (it expired) and haven't had time to donate again to check the tower, so I can't say what tower it is. But I doubt there are many out here. 6. I don't follow b26 on here, so I don't know if this will help or not. But I just got this. It's in Columbia IL Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  7. I know it's not possible for everyone, but the best way to solve this is to get a Pebble smart watch. I got one, and I never miss a notification because it vibrates right on your wrist. But they are pretty expensive, so I understand if that isn't an option. I'm just throwing that out there as an idea. Unfortunately because I have a Pebble, I almost never have the phone on vibrate. But when it is, it seems pretty strong. It is much stronger than my old EVO LTE, and I believe it is stronger than the S3, but I can't comment on the S4. It is also pretty quiet too when compared to other phones (namely iPhones). Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  8. So I just found something really interesting. Lock your phone (like turn the screen off) and press both volume buttons at the same time (using two fingers makes it easier) 3 times really fast. Like 3 quick taps. Your phone should vibrate once. Unlock your phone and play around with it for about a minute. After about a minute, your phone should vibrate 3 times and you'll get a notification that a bug report was captured. Is this something HTC added, or is this an android thing? 9. I use PowerAmp for music, but it also does it with the official YouTube app and a 3rd party YouTube app. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  10. I got the m8 last Saturday and so far I love it. But one thing I've found is that almost every time I am listening to anything and I change the volume, whatever is playing stutters for a second. It makes me dread changing the volume. If I reboot the phone, it clears the issue up temporarily, but it always comes back within a few minutes. I'm probably going to do a factory reset, but I first want to know if anyone else is experiencing this issue. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  11. You might think I'm completely crazy for this, but I have found a way to get buttons that have stopped working to start working again. I know it sounds really really stupid, but sometimes it actually works. If you put your mouth on your phone and blow really warm, moist air around the button and then click it a whole bunch, sometimes it makes it work normally again. If yours is sticking, this might not work. But I know with some buttons gunk and oxidation builds up inside the button and this breaks it apart. It probably won't help in your case, but it's worth a shot to try. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
  12. Best Buy had silver for Sprint? On their website they only list silver for VZW and ATT (coming soon). If they have it I might have to head over there and pick one up tonight. I've been holding out for silver.
  13. You can order the M8 directly from the Sprint website, so I would hope there wouldn't be any issues. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
  14. I didn't even think about that before I posted. I guess I've just been watching too many reviews of it and forgot that it's only available through Verizon. Haha oops. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
  15. Lucky. I want to buy it so bad, but I'm waiting for sprint to get the silver version. How's the LTE reception on it? Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
  16. Props to those guys. I seriously respect them for doing that. I can't imagine being up in the air trying to attach big heavy panels to a pole in this weather. It is cold, windy, wet, icy, and basically everything that is miserable. I know I wouldn't want to do that. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
  17. I'll be able to grab the Wentzville site id's (hex and 3 digit) today and hopefully do some mapping. I'm currently running cm10.2 on my evo, but realized yesterday (flashed it the night before) that LTE is broken. Plus I can't grab id's with it either. So I'm going to flash back to a sense based rom today so I can get the hex id's. Edit: the site is not live. None of the 3 phones (2 LTEvos and 1 galaxy s3) picked it up right by the tower. I'll keep an eye out these next few days and see if it gets turned on. I hope it doesn't end up a red stick.
  18. I read that post, but I didn't even think about it earlier. I won't be able to go back up that way for a while to confirm that is it, but it probably is. Thanks! Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  19. Here's the 3 digit scid Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  20. Ok. So I was able to get LTE from that Dugan site. The S3 picked it up after a airplane mode toggle, but the LTEvo had to be switched to LTE only mode. And then after I switched it back to CDMA/LTE auto it dropped the LTE signal. So I don't know what's up with that. The evo also had a very low signal even though I was really close to it. It was between - 100 and - 110 dB. Odd. I will upload the pic of 3 digit in a few minutes. But here's the hex. By the way, this screen shot was in LTE only mode, that's why it isn't connected to 1x. 21. Just passed the recently accepted troy site on Dugan Ln. And did not pick up any LTE. on my way back home I'll stop by and see if I can get it. I don't expect to get any pictures because to get to it I would have to go past the guys house who owns the property, and I don't feel like getting shot at. You never know what those country people will do when you get on their property. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  22. I might have to do that when I go back up there. 1x was pretty miserably slow. Which one did you use? Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  23. I was thinking the same thing. I got decent roaming service up there, but nothing on the lake at all. Edit: I got roaming service on the lake, but it was completely unusable.
  24. Sorry DaQue, didn't see that you were going until after I posted that. That tower has some crazy range to the north though. Check out sensorly when. Some zoom levels have my points already. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  25. 3 digit scid for the Hopewell/N site. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
