  1. Hey, they might not have had it broadcasting until later. I didn't pick it up until I posted here about it. If it had been broadcasting earlier, I'm pretty sure I would have gotten it earlier. So it may have had nothing to do with your phone. Just bad timing. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  2. So I was able to go out tonight and check the Hopewell/N site. I wasn't able to get pictures because it was dark, but I mapped over 750 points on sensorly. I also confirmed the HEX ID. Here's my screen shots. I might be able to get the 3 digit style scids tonight. But if I can't, I should be able to get them tomorrow. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  3. I completely agree. It would not be good if we later found out that I was wrong and it ended up causing confusion.
  4. I agree. That is why i am going to make sure tomorrow. and because DaQue did not get any LTE when he checked that site out earlier. i am extremely doubtful that it is the Winghaven site, but we will know for sure when i go check it out tomorrow (unless someone beats me to it).
  5. if you are talking about the Hopewell/N site, I am the one who reported LTE from that one. It is definitely not in donut because it is the only site in the area broadcasting, so there would be nothing to hand off to it. But i do not think that it would reach to the highway. I will map it tomorrow as well as confirm the hex id.
  6. I will go by the site at Hopewell rd and N to confirm the HEX ID. I am 99% sure the one i posted earlier is correct, but ill go by tomorrow to get pictures (if you guys want them) and to be certain that the ID i got was from this site.
  7. I think it's from Hopewell and N. If I go towards that way, I get a better signal (via signal check pro). And it is also a very weak signal, which would make sense that it is traveling from that far away. The other towers in the area are much closer. We will know for sure tomorrow when I go check out that tower. The winghaven and 40 site is quite a ways away. I don't think my EVO could pick that up. Haha. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  8. Just got LTE at my house. It's by Quail Ridge park at 40 and 70 ish. I can't check out sites tonight because the sun is just about to go down out here and I already have other plans that I can't get out of. If I get a chance tomorrow I will find out what site it is. Here is the HEX ID, but I don't remember what number correlate to which direction, so if one of you guys could remind me, I can probably figure out which tower it is and let you guys know. Then tomorrow I'll get pictures. Or this could be a site accepted that has not been put on the map yet. I haven't checked out the recently accepted sites that lilg740 has linked to (from Saturday I think), so it may be one of those. Sorry to write such a long post, I'm just really happy to see some action our here in Wentzville. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  9. Ok sorry. I just wasn't sure. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  10. the map in your sig shows it as being legacy still. has the map just not been updated? if so ill just keep quiet. i was just wondering since it did seem to be from that site.
  11. After looking at the map, I don't see a completed site near there. Is this site broadcasting but not accepted? It was also already mapped on sensorly when I opened it. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  12. Just got LTE at Bryan Rd and 70. Don't know if you have the HEX ID for that or not, so here's a screen shot. I also mapped about 60 points. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  13. Signal Check pro vibrated a couple times this morning saying I was connected to LTE. I looked at it and it only said eHRPD, so I hit the reset connection and it said it was connected to LTE for a second. I was not able to get a screen shot fast enough before it went back to eHRPD. I can't get it to connect anymore. I will try to look at towers in this area later, but I can't right now. This is in Wentzville by the intersection of 40 and 70. It might have just been bugging out or something. I haven't heard any news of towers in this area being worked on, nor have I seen any work lately. So I am doubtful. 14. No problem. I am sure I will go back out there again and hopefully be able to site hunt! But it won't be for a little while because I am going to be extremely busy the next few months. But I'll still try to do the best I can to keep an eye on things whenever I can! Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  15. I'm sure you guys already know about this since it is on sensorly, but but picked up some LTE. I'm only posting because of the HEX ID. I can't confirm what site this is as we are driving and just trying to get home at a decent time, so I didn't have time to go site hunting. But here are the screen shots. I will also say that this site had some good range. I know people pick up sites from like 9 miles away, but I can't usually do that on my EVO. I carried this for like a good 3 or 4 miles. 16. I'll see if I can try that! Thanks! Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  17. The one at linn cemetery is the one I was talking about. It's kind of near the 40/70 intersection. I have not seen the one on the road that runs along 61 from east pearce to hwy a. I will try to get over there to take a look though. I checked the one in Founders park a while back, but with all the construction there I haven't been back since. I'll try to make a run around to different sites this next week and see if anything looks like it had changed, but I am not expecting anything at all. Also, does anyone know if there is any way to get to the one on the GM plant? It looks like the whole place is gated. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  18. I am! I've been keeping an eye on the site by 40 and 70 when I go by. I also try to watch the site at highway N and Duello Rd. There hasn't been any activity on either. The one near 40 and 70 is a Sprint/Nextel synergy site (I believe). Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  19. I was there tonight as well but I only had 3g and it was literally unusable. It wouldn't even run a speedtest. I might have gotten lte if I didn't have this Evo. Ugh. Oh well. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  20. Yeah I see what you are saying there. I guess I'm just getting a little bit excited and impatient seeing the Chicago market have like every site 800 accepted and there are so few anywhere else. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  21. My question is, what is required for them to turn on 800? You would think that once a site is lte active and legacy has been removed, there would be no problem turning on 800. The rrus, cabinets, and antennas are already in place, so it shouldn't be too hard. I mean I guess they would have to have it tested and approved to be accepted. But I just never understood why so few sites are 800 accepted (outside of the Chicago market, of course). Sorry, this is a little bit off topic. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  22. Ok, sorry. Just seemed a little too good to be true to me, so that's why I questioned it. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  23. So they just giving out free hotspots to anyone who orders one? Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  24. Well if you have two phones on your plan and you upgrade them at different times, then at any given time you are under contract. If you are under contract, can they change your plan on you? Wouldn't they have to wait until you are off contract to change your plan? Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4 Beta
