So far on evdo 3g im getting 1.5 down and .5 up (: not bad compaired ti 4g.

Well randomly today my note 2 went back to evdo rev 8, I checked everything and nothings changed, I was on ehrpd or a weak lte signal. Anyone else having this?

Just a general lte question what is a decent lte dbm? When I get lte ill usually be on -114 to -116 dbm, when closer to the tower it is closer to -112 dbm. Ehprd right now is -97 dbm. The dbm reading is from signal check pro, pretty neat app.

Just a sprint rep I called on the phone because my note 2 wouldnt connect to anything, long story short I asked about network vision in SC and he said its coming along very quick. And hr also helped me fix my note that some how had air plain mode on but no symbol for it in notification bar or a check mark in settings.

Got off the phine with a sprint rep, teir 2 or 3 I think, said that lte should be full strength by end of the year for the SC market.

Its just bad service, I to havr been told network vision. And now that Greenville is lte live and I ask about network and signal they say nothings wrong in my area. Hopefully soon it will be fixed if not im going to tmo with a n5.

Only questions I have now are battery life vs g2, then I'm set other than otterbox or like cases.

Sprint said there is work going on in my area for the past few months and is still going on but so far I haven't seen anything different in terms of signal or speed. I'm the only one in my house with a LTE phone my father has wimax lol and brother in law has vzw lte.

Sprints coverage maps and sensorly say I'm in a 4g area but it connects to a weak signal unless I'm a couple of houndred feet away from the tower, my dBm is always -115 or -116.

I'm debating weather I should get a g2 when it comes out or stick with my note 2, since its gonna be a while before my area even gets 1900 LTE everywhere, let alone 2.5ghz and 800mhz LTE.

Also about the tower beside hamricks in Berea? I was told it was on but on as in fully or just not on fiber yet.

True nothings ever gonna be 100% because its always evolving. I'm not to far from a LTE tower but it drops off quick in terms of speed and coverage. A couple of hundred feet its almost full bars and 25mbps avg down and 4 avg upload but a mile or so and its one bar and 2 Mbps down and half a Mbps up.

How long dose it usually take for a tower to be 100%? I can't believe sprint will say a area has LTE when its not actually complete per say.

I seen it on android central I'm hoping they are turning the towers on through out the day.

Sprint announced 45 more markets for LTE today and Greenville is one of the multiple SC markets but as of right now 10:58am at my house I'm still on 3g slow as usual, hope it improves by end of year.

I just hope the LTE issues are fix before launch.

Still no word on the street release date, a officially one? I know the roumor is Nov 8th.

I've picked up some LTE at home but its dBm is -116 so its not really usable, at work outside(metal building) I get a dBm around the mid -90's

So with the mic on top will the otterbox defender work with it? I see it has a hole for what looks like a mic beside the camera but have yet to see a top picture to see if there's a hole there to.

On the lg G2 training app(sprint) under training videos, then the power and connect video it says tri-band will bring greater coverage and network experience.

Anyone have a good estimate on when we might get LTE turned on officially?

Ok thanks for clearing that up ericdabbs, just looked and was thinking it was copy paste. Lazy people I guess. I'm just looking forward to reviews of the sprint model, I may get one but I'll have to pay full price for one.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the best buy site says it has a micro SD slot? I was under the impression that only some foreign g2 had that it is it going to be a sprint exclusive.

Anyone know the out right price? Or a rough estimate? Looking to get this phone and get rid of my loved note 2.... It will be missed but i want tri-band, also on the band selection stuff can I make it try to get 800mhz then if no signal go to 1900mhz then if available signal 2500mhz? Thanks, looking forward to getting the g2 and doing my first unboxing/review with it.

Off white horse at QT I got almost 30 down and 20 up but when I got to big lots off Farris bridge it dropped to under 2 down and 1 up on 4g.
