Anyone have any guess if the upstate is going to be in the next round of 4g LTE official cities?

Cherrydale has 4g around 10 down and up avg for me with great signal. On a side note a galaxy note 2 zerolemon extended battery is amazing but back to signal and LTE and such.

I'm on 3g right now but since yesterday I have noticed big changes in signal, I usually roam at work because of being in a metal building.

Same her Hov none even no signal period at quaker, voice or 3g also no 4g at haywood. Hope it rolls out soon

Didn't get any 4g at quick trip on Whitehorse rd, must have been testing tower and stopped. Any word on any around quaker steak off woodruff? Or Haywood rd by mall? Last time I was on Haywood I had no 4g just good 3g.

Well after I drive to work(faris bridge road) and got out to put my phone on vibrate I seen the 4g icon, pulled 3mbps down and up. Hope this is a good sign to come

So far still none of Cedar lane rd, i doubt ill have any at work but if i do..... Youtube lol

Im in berea and so far still no sign of 4g :/ also went to haywood to get my new glasses and no 4g  

Any updates anyone, so far nothings improved I keep bouncing back and forth from evdo rev a8 and ehrpd:13 with little to n signal change but on ehrpd:13 I have been getting better ping but my speeds are about the same so far.

Hoping some in Berea go live to test at least soon, I got almost 14 Mbps down and 6 Mbps up when I was on plesandburg at publixs

Well so far I have had zero to 1 bars around my house with the usual 3g and no sign of 4g, soon I hope to go to Haywood road and see if u get 4g there I'll report when I do.

^^^ love it haha, yeah soon..... soon im seeing more eHRPD:13 in Berea than Evdo rev a8 speeds are almost the same but ping is better. 

Sprint announced 41 more cities with LTE today and none are in SC :/ maybe next round we will get it.

that site has Benn finished for 2 months. Those are Sprints old antennas, been laying there for a few months.

I guess im 2 months behind lol, i guess all its waiting on is for them to turn lte and stuff on or we still need fiber? 

Well i rode by the tower behind hamricks on white horse in berea while i was tuning my car and it looked like there were some antennas laying against the fence, Didn't have time to look had to mess with my car running the way it was i had to nurse it home but hope its sprint upgrading stuff.

I dont go by that site beside hamricks much but i might go by there once a week to just see if anything is being done, only problem is i cant stay too long if i drive my car. When its wet me and a few friends will go sliding in hamricks parking lot so they might know my car because its the only one with the front splitter and bright fog lights haha ill just go in my truck lol but if i see anything ill let yall know, if i remember correctly the last time i went by there i got almost 1.4 down in the parking lot. 

I'm willing to say the the site at hamrick will have LTE very soon. That tower has fast evdo speeds so thinking backhaul might be in place.

I live off Cedar Lane rd and i get a ping of 538 ms a download of 0.46mbps and a upload of the same. Also i work at the O'reillys in berea and i get even worse signal in there. i hope they get it up soon. I might go down the motor mile to get another phone, if he comes down on the price but the network is improving slowly but surely it is;

Still nothing to report in the Brera area so far. 

Here's the 4g That I stated earlier. It's on the way toward Greenwood in the piedmont area.

 

I'll be downtown this weekend for the bday so I'll map more of the 4g on the drive stadium side

I should be down Laurens road this coming friday for a doctors appointment :/ Ill have to report what my Note 2 gets as far as signal/speed. 

Any word or LTE around Berea? So far i haven't gotten any, just wondering if anyone else picked up a signal?

Based on a recent Sprint Motorola FCC filing allegely for the Moto X, it said it was going to be a single band LTE 1900 phone.  The Moto X is rumored to be released in August so I doubt that it will be tri-band LTE. 

 

Based on Sprint's press release when the triband LTE hotspots mentioned that triband LTE Samsung and LG smartphones will be available later on this year so it doesn't mention anything about Motorola or HTC.  I hope what Sprint said was wrong because if a HTC One MAX phablet does come out in Q4, I would expect that to be a triband LTE phone.

I like the Moto X phone but figured it wouldn't be a tri band phone but i have not heard, as far as who is carrying it, the HTC One Max, it seems to be a beast but i would like to have another Moto phone, just my preference. But i guess we can wait and see what happens, and/or comes out. I kinda like the HTC Once but i love my note 2, only for battery life, other that than i would have bought a different phone at the time probably the Photon Q or some other phone at the time. I am hoping that Sprint will come out with a rugged tri band phone with decent specs i.e. a beefed up Kyocera Torque just bigger screen, faster processor, more ram, etc.... but thats unlikely. I just miss having a Military Spec phone.  

That probably depends on how many people want to shell out money for a tri-band LTE device. A lot of people are locked into a two year contract with their current device that supports 1900 LTE only.

If Moto has a tri band phone i might just get it, i love my note 2 but i have had a few problems, not here to complain or start a flame war. But once LTE is on were i live, they are testing some now not were im at yet but not too far, and i get proof that 800 mhz is turned on where i'm at i might get a phone that supports it, other than that ill stick with my note 2 for now. Anyway are there any rumors on a 800mhz phone?

Well in Berea i am pulling around ~300Kbps up and down on evdo rev a8 and when i switch my Note 2 over to CDMA/LTE and on eHRPD:13 i get ~300Kbps up an down also but the ping on eHRPD:13 is 2 to 3 times higher than evdo rev a8.
