new image posted for the Nexus 5, LMY47I, still Android 5.1.0
-
Did this fix the memory leaks as well?
It was mentioned that this was the update where they were to be implementing the fixes for memory and WiFi/Bluetooth dropping out, as well as a number of other things they left out in the initial release of 5.0

does unlocking the bootloader wipe my device? never done it this way before, always waited for the OTA.
yes it will wipe your device, so if you want to save anything, store it on your computer.
Ughh.. Mine is literally stuck it the spinning color balls for 15 minutes. I already flashed twice and it still hanging.
Just let it do its thing, eventually it'll boot, it's just updating the system.
-
Are you talking about when it first tries to boot up and the 4 color balls are swirling around? Because that is where I am stuck and I am just letting it do its thing.
It'll do that for a bit, but eventually boot. The apps all have to update so just let em go
-
final build is beautiful, though be prepared for your phone to be sitting for quite sometime as its going to be updating everything for at least 15-20 mins
-
installing right now

I believe that Google released the source code yesterday for developers and OEM manufacturers.
Sent from my Nexus 5
It went AOSP last night, once it shows up in the factory images there won't be a need to wait for the OTA as you can just flash it.

Looking at the changelog, looks like Lollipop has native wi-fi calling built in. Coming to the Nexus 5, 7, and 10 in the coming weeks

More Nexus 6 leaks... I really hope that this device really isn't 5.9in.
if that's the size, count me out. I'll stick with my N5

unfortunately I traded in my freshman year handset (EVO LTE) to get my N5, and I'm not trading that for some time

New T-Mobile, possibly Project Fi but I'm waiting to see what Google offers next.
