  1. Thanks for your input. I have owned many phones over the past several years (literally 20 or more different models per year, on average), and that includes a huge number of HTC models - almost everything they've ever produced. I have had issues with them from the start.

Anyway, we'll see if Sprint gives me a replacement....I do have their ultra-expensive protection plan.

That's almost 2 phones per month. No offense, but I doubt this is likely. They dont even release 20 different phones a year for sale.

  2. Yeah I need to go to the tower and see if it does still connect to 41 and it's just display issue there....

Only reason I say that is because of the bad validation thrown when selecting band priority asking for more than 1 enabled when I have 2 enabled... Shot in the dark but possible...as the screen wasn't there before.

From all indications I have, I should of had B41 in some spots, even ones where B25 wasn't setup (wimax conversion site), but have never gotten a 41 connection.

  3. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2824025

See my post there in response... Odd that now that you can enable/disable bands that they showed b41 disabled for me... Anyone else seeing that on the latest update?

Also thought it was real odd the validation on the band priority option that's thrown.

Thanks for this post. I don't have my MSL, but in view mode I now can confirm B41 is disabled. Wonder what reason there is for this, because it's sort of annoying.

  4. Does anyone see the phone scan LTE bands in the debug screen? I dont. I only ask because I can't find a B41 connection, even though I should be able too in some areas near me, and I have been to known cities. I am actually wondering if my phone has an issue where it can't get B41. B25 and 26 work fine.

  5. O I was referring to what you said about the abusers being the only ones left after a while. Ill still be left.

David no I do not have home internet. Whats the point of shelling out even more money when I already pay for unlimited data on my phone. I do not tether either. Strictly data use on my phone. I live on a budget and am not going to pay 2 different companies for internet. Thats my reasoning.

Just to put some math on your 100 gig use, that's 102,400 megabytes per month. That comes to you averaging 2.37 megs of use per minute, 24/7.

Yea. That's not what wireless data was designed for one person to use, nor could the technology support that on a large scale.

  6. While you arent using home Internet there are many others who get a terrible true mobile experience because of you.

How would you feel if you couldn't use your mobile data because I was downloading "software updates" for my computers over my phone. Put yourself in the opposite posistion.

Frankly, I wish unlimited would just go away. Offer "unlimited" users now a crazy cap, like 50 gigs per line. It would be a start to a better experience for everyone.

  7. Want a Premiere Sponsorship?  Lets have a little contest

I am offering a donation in the name of the person that can find me a B41 connection anywhere in Connecticut.  (Anyone traveling through CT is welcome to participate)  I will make whatever donation it takes to get you to Premiere Sponsor.  Already a Premiere Sponsor?  I will make a donation in the persons name of your choosing, and you will have the privilege of gifting them a Premiere Sponsorship.  I am going to let everyone know, that there should be some B41 connections somewhere in the state.  You just have to find them.

    Requirements:

-Ability to narrow the signal down to a certain site, if you arent a sponsor at all, and cant get the site ID, you should be able to give me the nearest address of the tower.  Weak signal readings dont count.

-Screen shots of your LTE engineering screen, including the GPS data (make sure your GPS is on!)

-Pictures of any 8T8R B41 antennas will suffice even if not live.  In these cases, your pictures must be geotagged and have accompanying scenery photographs that can be verified with google streetview (if its not completely on the other side of the state, I am probably going to drive there to verify).  I dont need anyone to try to send me a picture from another part of the country.

Any questions, let me know.  Otherwise, happy hunting, and goodluck to anyone looking to get a Premiere Sponsorship.

  9. I have started an active map of all known Band 41 permits for the entire state of CT, and any confirmed Band 26 sightings.  I posted it in the premiere sponsor section.  I would love to get all of your reports and keep the map active and growing.

I know not everyone is a premiere sponsor, but with the incredible offer out there, you can become one for a much lower donation than ever before.  I strongly recommend it.  You will get to see some great information, more schedule information, and definitely more progress information.  The Sprint network is accelerating fast, and with everyone's help we can make one of the best market level maps in the country.

Check it out, and if you aren't sure how to go about it, check out this link: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/6095-special-premier-sponsor-offerfor-a-limited-time/
