Saw some guys working on the Sprint rack in East Windsor near Hotcakes on Route 5.  Definitely not doing 8T8R, but maybe finally fixing whatever is wrong on that site so the gap in LTE can be filled.  I had LTE from the mass line down to East Hartford on Route 5 today, except the area served by that one tower.

I tried to catch Adams St today in my travels, but I was just out of time and couldnt swing over that way.

Do you have a better camera?  Even a hand held digital might get you better zoom shots than a cell phone.  Clarity is key.

The northern hartford one getting work in the picture isnt getting 8T8R, I stopped by it a few days ago when I saw them working.  Slater St in manchester might be an 8T8R, I stress might.  I actually will be in the neighborhood there tomorrow for other business, ill bring my camera.  You might of found one!

Perhaps they are playing possum.  I hope I am wrong honestly, I think Sprint can go it alone.

Do you really think this auction is about the money generated for the spectrum, or, for the money these corrupt officials get from the lobbyists and corporations?

Supply and demand is only a factor when all things are neutral. Allowing Sprint and T-Mobile to bid together gives them more money to bid with, not less. This scares the duopoly.

My guess is the duopoly opposes it because if Sprint/Tmo joint bid on the portion of the auction the duopoly can't get, then they will have more money for the open portion, potentially being able to out bid the big 2.

We wouldn't want that to happen now would we ????

Idiot chairman is idiot . You cannot have the two smaller providers compete against the big two unless they cooperate on network deployment. I have been agitating for either a common network or a merger for ever. I swear he is in AT&T/Verizon's pocket.

Uhh yeah.  Not unless Masa owns them too.

I actually laughed out loud when I read that.  Best part, its true.  TMobile would be bringing a knife to a gun fight when it comes to Softbank.  The voracity and audaciousness that Masa shows is incredible.  He gets his way, or pummels you into submission, and still gets his way.  

I think with enough effort they could sway the merger with the regulators, because hes got the cash.  Cash buys lobbyists, which buy politicians and corrupt employees. I just hope he goes the other way and says F this, I am going to crush you and take over your customers once you are irrelevant.

Although possible, doubtful they are painted already. Seems painting in CT occurs 6 months after install. Got any pictures?

Pictures of a site with the 8T8R will win it for you.

Also, if you are at home you should absolutely rely on your home wifi. That's going to always make your experience better, and everyone else's. Goes for any carrier. If we all stop offloading to wifi, networks would crumble.

Another thing, the Note 3 has terrible reception compared to most devices. Unless you are married to the size, maybe you can find someone on Craigslist that would swap to an S4 or S5. The note just doesn't perform well.

Well banananuts you are correct...i talked to network support and 800mhz is starting like you said within 3 months and then 1900mhz and 2.5 ghz....wish they would start already data service is getting worse everyday.

The biggest thing you are doing wrong is talking to network support. They are just throwing the standard answers out.  It could be next week, it could be a year.  Something is holding this site up.  Its not being ignored or passed over.

 It also doesnt start with 800mhz.  They go in, put up panels that support 1900 LTE and Voice and 800 LTE and Voice.  Most likely, the day it goes live, LTE will not, just 1900 voice.  Then typically LTE on 1900, then 800 voice and LTE get lit up together at this stage of the game (it used to be 800 voice and later on 800 LTE, but they appear to happen at the same time lately).

There is high site density in the area, so it doesn't seem like it would be too hard to get a signal from another one of the towers.  You really should consider a donation to the site and get a look at the maps.  Meriden is pretty well off.  Thats all I am gonna say.

Also, you guys should consider trying to win my little contest.  Go find some B41.  If you have a Triband device, you should be able to find some.

I get the same error setting priority, but I can confirm, disable 25 and I don't get 25. I don't have a reason to really do this, so I put it back on, but it worked for me in my area.
