  1. I find it odd that Sprint is responding to some comments. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=987008354668841&id=193742123995472 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  2. Saddly when they have done this, it backfires. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  3. Basically the new plan at $20 is ultimately cheaper than the same plan on T Mobile that the majority here have bashed for months. The only good it serves is bringing more subscribers ... <or bad pending where you use the network> Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  4. I highly doubt Comcast would buy sprint. It would take too much time and money. Riding on VZW as an MVNO would give a quicker ramp up with less CS issues. And no large infrastructure to deal with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. It seems big bad red added a decent amount of new subscribers .... Granted I suspect many are tablets. But who cares... Sprint could do the same. Just seems odd with tmo and Sprint being great value - how do they still add.... Id assume since the network. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  6. I highly doubt defectors from either tmo to sprint or reverse push the proverbial needle much if at all. But who knows. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I was being a bit harsh and sarcastic... You are correct. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I think the cap makes sense... What doesn't sit well with me is that sprint raised the price $10, and still not provide a stable data connection with speeds in the 2-5mbps - at least where I've used the service. I also don't see where CA is of any use other than provide amazing speeds but can't offer range. I suspect the root metrics scores will start to show that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Don't take analyst reports so personal unless you invest in the stock market, or it causes you to get layed off. Their job is to sell advice almost like a reverse lobbyist. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  10. In small towns (at least mine) it made very little sense - as it doesn't help. Sure I can get near 90 down - but only when I am parked in the same parking lot as the tower LITERALLY - go about 2 miles and its difficult to keep LTE established... I know its not the same but in the end the consumer doesn't see it as a good thing.
  11. 600MHz spectrum is something Sprint needs to have! BUT if it try to get it it would be BAD! The resources it would take away from current build outs would set Sprint back 10 years.
  12. springfield area - basically anywhere in more rural areas I suppose. but hey to each their own.... I suppose I rather give me money to the duopoly :-) or rather Sprint rather I do that! I try sprint every 4-6 months or so. And its always the same disappointment. I have two new phones here now waiting to go back to the Sprint Shack. :-(
  13. For a top tier provider yes. For Sprint not sure... At least where I've used it. New England... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  14. well partially due to scale... yeah they over charge people (its their job though) but so is Sprint with $70 for unlimited, $50 is bearable - but $70 would send me to VZW or ATT (unless I was a data hog in which case idk)
  15. I don't see AT&T nor VZW being able to buy Sprint --- unless Sprint has shut down completely
  16. I see what you are saying now. And you be correct. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  17. I believe the four are needed as to spar of each group. The lower two providers keep the top two in a price a check. Where the two top providers keep the bottom two, in check on expanding or keeping the network in shape. Yeah I'll let that sink in Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  18. Anyway you slice it the 600mhz auctions are for tomorrow. Sprint needs solutions for today. Softbank doesn't seem like an organization that enjoys pissing away money. And it seems it has a good track record backing that up. TMO currently has a strong build out plan in action and its working. And they need that 600mhz to finish their vision. The rate of new customers onboarding to magenta is also amazing. But I also don't believe that vision can wait for "tomorrow".... I highly suspect dish will be the magic pill... Question is who will get to take it first. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  19. First and foremost, I'm pro Sprint TMO merger. But I am not sure if tmo is weak enough to make the feds change its mind. And lastly that ship has long set sail Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
