  1. I assume most phone mfgs assume the network will carry. From my experience b41 on Sprint doesn't carry at all - especially in a variety of topography. Where as in my experience vzw with aws3 carries very far and powerfully. Only bad thing is vzw is so damn expensive ha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Thing is I don't know if TMO will be sold now it seems DT is happy. Unless SoftBank has extra money hanging around. But I suppose DT might be willing to buy Sprint to give to TMO if SoftBank needed or wanted some cash... But big thing is the regulations as you mentioned Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. To me from what I've experienced... it seems sprint is turning into the old T-Mobile of HSPA+ days a few years ago where they acted like metro speed was king in a great castle - but no kingdom. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I couldn't agree more with your comment!!! The ad could easily be talking about sprint. My really criticism was that sprint doesn't talk about it the same way. I see the tmo ad imply yes we know we sucked in the past but we've made progress. Try us out. Vs saying yea Sprint is 1% off from being Verizon. Which I suspect most users don't believe or understand. Or saying we slash our prices which gets folks in the door. But idk All in all Sprint can or should advertise better and keep up on the network Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. If some of you can set aside your fear and loathing of TMO I think this new ad really is compelling --- and maybe what sprint should do when nv4 is complete https://twitter.com/johnlegere/status/761204938751946754 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. some positive blog post action... http://www.phonearena.com/news/Sprint-shares-soar-28-on-fourth-straight-quarter-of-net-postpaid-phone-additions_id83515
  7. Well if you want a spin to it... SoftBank needs profitable companies in its portfolio- in order to fund Son's not so profitable projects. Just a thought Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. if that and it still will have complications errr I mean, Folks will need to be understanding and less demanding
  9. Sprint in CT pretty much stinks -- unless you are downtown Hartford or Danbury. But quality of service really sucks. Agreed -- I have been on vzw for months and zero issues and I haven't ran a speed test since lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I assume you'll be waiting for the next upgrade as well once this upgrade is complete.
  11. Best info I'd say is check out the spreadsheet from the Conn Siting Council. http://www.ct.gov/csc/cwp/view.asp?a=895&Q=248312&cscNav=%7C Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Interesting reads. How's LTE at the Disney Properties these days? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. https://twitter.com/aaroncbaker/status/709825312641589249 Thought some folks here would understand or chuckle from this. I just don't understand why carriers can't just leave the OS alone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Oh and my sanity post was aimed solely at the notion that no carrier is our buddy or friend. That was all. [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. You seem to always respond in a digital process. I do value your knowledge Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Bingo unless you work for a carrier - they all have a motive and it's not being our friend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Thank you --- I thought it was 2.3! Being aws does that assist with in building use? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. The 28 and 39ghz bands are using newer technology that doesn't require the same power to be useful. At least that is what I understand. http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/ielx7/6287639/6336544/06515173.pdf?tp=&arnumber=6515173&isnumber=6336544 Note at least in my area I believe VZW uses 2.3ghz now and has zero issues inside a building. I suppose VZW uses unicorn magic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
